• Block Story Multiplayer Is Coming! - 26 July 2026

  Hey everyone! After over a decade of this game being single player only, the team has started working on bringing multiplayer to the world of Block Story! Here is an early preview of what it looks like!As you can tell, this an early work in progress on what it will look like. Currently the player models don't have textures and you can't see what tools they are holding, however there is quite a bit worth noting here! Cross play support is in, so you will be able to play with mobile players or PC users that bought the game on GOG or Itch.io! This test was done on a private server that we have setup, however, we plan on also adding in peer to peer connection!There are a few other things we plan on bringing with this!   Hey everyone, with the full release of 14.0 right around the corner, we have released a hotfix that should address most of your problems. I'm calling it v14.0.3.2. It has a few small features, as well as many fixes that have been reported over the last week. The goal with this patch is to make your experience as bug free as possible while we wait for the chunk rewrite to finish.   Hey everyone, thanks for your patience! Block Story 14.0.3 is out now in Public Beta on Steam! This update is a big one! It's easily one of the biggest quality of life updates this game has ever seen! We went through and patched every known bug we could find and added a ton of features and requests you all have been asking for years like controller support and a fire damage nerf!   Hey everyone, version 14.0.2 is out now in Beta! We did lots of private testing with this one with our testers to make sure we really nailed this one! Losing your items in Furnaces, Crafting Tables, Cauldrons, Anvils, and Paint Tables is fixed!14.0.1 deleted a lot of player's items that were stored in Furnaces and Anvils. I honestly feel really bad about this. I plan on giving out something to make it up for you soon. I apologize for that.Lastly, this patch should mark the end of critical issues with this update.
