Scary Sam is an 80s/90s-inspired analog survival horror experience. You play as a documentarian drawn to a remote farmhouse where the previous owner vanished without a trace. The only clues left behind are a series of tapes, strange machinery, and a legend whispered by nearby villagers; of Samael, the Toller of the Wood. Explore the abandoned property, uncover the story of what happened, and survive the nightly hauntings of the mysterious scarecrow known as Scary Sam. Reveal the unseen: Use a special camera lens to uncover hidden objects, ghostly markings, and the true form of Scary Sam. Hide or be harvested: When the bells toll, find shelter or face the Harvester himself. Solve environmental puzzles: Discover secrets buried within the farmhouse.
