- Retro Signal Pack - Three Retro-Styled Games - 17 December 2025
Hi! I've put together a small Retro Signal Pack bundle with my three retro-styled games.Effulgence RPG is a tactical RPG with a 3D world built entirely from moving ASCII characters.ASCIILL is a fast game where layered ASCII art and parallax create a sense of depth on a flat screen.Coin-Op Vice is an action built from chunky monochrome sprites with an arcade feel.If you enjoy experimental ASCII and old-school visuals, this bundle is for you.
- If Coin-Op's retro feel clicked for you, try my new spin: Effulgence RPG - 14 October 2025
I'm exploring a different retro lane alongside Coin-Op: Effulgence RPG takes the minimalist charm of text symbols and projects it into 3D space - tactical combat, glowing glyphs, and a distinct look you can't miss. The demo is free during Steam Next Fest (runs through Oct 21). Please add to your wishlist and share feedback in the comments - it really helps shape the launch.👉 Effulgence RPG on SteamThank you for playing and supporting my projects!
- Update 1.1 Autosave - 7 October 2024
Hi everyone! I'm excited to present the first major update for the game. The main addition: autosave when exiting the game and after each completed arcade. Previously, in the spirit of the roguelike genre, saving only occurred after completing a mission. However, the game is already challenging enough, and the autosave feature adds convenience. Thank you for your feedback!

- Prisoner of ASCII-Boss - 30 May 2024
Hi everyone! A few days ago, I realized what my game was missing. In every mission, I wanted to defeat a REALLY tough boss. It's cool that there's such a boss in the mini-games, but not in the main game. So, I made one! The big boss is made of symbols. A creature from the alphanumeric ASCII world bursts into the Pixel game. The idea is that the big bosses are roughly digitized characters from classic visual art. The first boss in the demo version is inspired by Munch's "The Scream". The big boss guards a prisoner. Defeat the boss, free the prisoner, and get a keycard from them for locked rooms. I hope you like it! Have a great end of the week!
- DevLog #2 - 30 April 2024
Hello everyone! First of all, let me announce that the game's free demo is now available! This is the very first version. I'll be glad to receive any feedback and suggestions! Currently, the demo includes one mission. I believe it can be completed in about an hour if you complete all the tasks. Please, give it a try! Rank Implemented hero rank. At the beginning of the game, the rank is set to one. The maximum rank value is five. Hero rank affects the number of slots in the deck. The higher the rank, the more cartridges can be activated simultaneously. To increase the hero rank, you need to collect chips. Chips are awarded for completing arcades. Complete an arcade - get chips. The better the arcade is completed, the more chips are awarded for it. New level decor elements Added several new decorative elements to make the level look more vibrant. Broken arcade machines on the street, flow…
- Neo-N Mode - 1 April 2024
Few days ago, my game's textures glitched out, and it switched into text mode. It looked so cool that I decided to turn this bug into a feature. If you approach the computer terminal sticking out of the floor, you can enter 'Neo-N Mode' for one minute. In this mode: Bosses can't harm you in close combat - you can breeze through tough sections. Hidden passages in walls become visible. HOWEVER, you can't play mini-games, bring up the map, or interact with other interactive elements. Matrix Mode in action:
- Pandora's Cardboard Box - 23 March 2024
Just added a Pandora's Cardboard Box to my game Coin-Op Vice. It works quite simply: there's a 50% chance it'll hit and take away a life, and a 50% chance it'll give you a new cartridge. You can adjust the percentages in your favor by leveling up the Trap Detector skill. Wishlist the game! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2722640/CoinOp_Vice/
- DevLog #1 - 10 March 2024
Hi guys! Let me show you a couple of new features. 1. Destroyable walls. Some walls in "Coin-Op VICE" can be destroyed. Use this to collect coins and unlock secret rooms. 2. Plasma beams. You can hide from them in shelters. If you hit them, they take 3 seconds to repair - you can slip through. Thanks!
