  • Update notes for v2.3.8 - 23 June 2026

Added a beta version of Frame Generation (FSR3): On selected hardware, this option allows a significant increase in FPS, but can introduce some visual artifacts. In the coming months, higher quality versions of this technology (DLSS4, FSR4) will become available, stay tuned. Now you have the option to deactivate resolution upscaling altogether, falling back on a traditional temporal anti-aliasing (TAA) solution. In this mode you can select the resolution scale (30%-100%) directly. On hardware that did not support upscaling to start with, this new feature gives you an additional lever to optimize visual quality vs FPS. Now you can only select among resolution upscaling technologies that are supported on your hardware. Addressed a game startup bug and added more detailed logging to help solve these problems more efficiently in the future.

  • Update notes for v2.2.0 - 16 June 2026

Reworked the Aachen arena nocturnal lighting. Corrected a bug whereby user names in Cyrillic would not be displayed on rankings. Corrected several minor bugs that could lead to random crashes and exceptions.

  • Update notes for v2.1.4 - 10 May 2026

This hotfix addresses a bug whereby the course and championship records would not display correctly after using the newly-introduced "recover records" functionality in the Options menu. If you ever used this functionality, please run it one more time with this game update in order to correct the problem.

  • Update notes for v2.1.2 - 8 May 2026

Small update featuring the latest Unity version and updated upscaling technology code.

  • Update notes for v2.1.1 - 9 April 2026

Hello Riders, This hotfix addresses two issues that have been reported by some of you: 1) The game now stores local save game files in addition to the Steam cloud backups. Some players had connection issues with the cloud, so this update will allow them to continue playing without any problem based on the local files. 2) In the past days some players have reported losing their personal records (so they only see dashes instead of best results when selecting a course or championship). A new button on the Options menu now allows you to recover all your records. This function will scan all the Steam Leaderboards for your best scores and then update the local save files. This process can be long, so the game will remain on the loading screen for a few minutes, just be patient. Beware, this function will only recover the standard championship and course records, not the ones on user-generated…

  • Update notes for v2.0.12 - 7 April 2026

Hello Riders, Small hotfix that introduces a new loading screen when loading/restarting a course. This loading scene allows the game to properly clean the previous scene, releasing unused memory and assets. Although it adds a couple of seconds of load time, this update should make the game more robust (less crashes after a long play-through).

  • Update notes for v2.0.11 - 6 April 2026

Hello Riders, This hotfix aims at solving a problem that has been reported by some users: A black screen when trying to ride any course. Since this is an issue that I am unable to reproduce on my system, it is not straightforward for me to know if it is actually solved or not. Please post here to let me know if it worked. Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience caused to some of you!

  • Update notes for v1.8.4 - 17 January 2026

Hello riders, 2026 starts with an important update to the game mechanics, please read carefully! As you know, targeting a slightly short takeoff distance will force the horse to adapt its stride frequency, giving a jump quality boost (check out the Automatic Stride Adjustment section of the Tutorial for more information). Now horses are more tolerant of such short takeoff distances, and the effect on the jump quality is significantly stronger, so make sure you find the sweet spot! On the flip side, if the takeoff distance is too short the stride length will be shortened upon landing. In other words, if you have a lousy approach to an obstacle make sure you bring back your horse to a good canter after landing. Added a new horse characteristic, its size. A normal distance will ride short on a large horse, and it will ride long on a small horse. This is specially important in combinations,…

The previous indoor arena will remain available for training exercises only. Two new horses have arrived to our stables. Uniting Touch, an extremely gifted jumper that can be difficult to control on short distances due to his huge stride and relatively low sensitivity; Checkers, a very well-rounded gray horse that is easy to ride.Added three new championships (12 new courses): Beijing 2008, Rio 2016, and Tokyo 2020. These are among the most difficult courses, so make sure you study the course plan and define your riding strategy wisely!Added two new jacket colors: Orange, for all those Netherlands supporters, and Azure, for Christian Ahlmann fans.Improved performance thanks to optimizations on texture size and compression, LODs for sp…

  • Pro Show Jumping v1.5.0 - 19 April 2025

Hello riders, Please read carefully, since this update is the largest one since the game launched last year. Added 9 new courses and 2 new championships: London 2012 and Paris 2024. Three of the Paris 2024 courses were available for download on the Workshop, these have now been removed from the Workshop and included by default in the game; the existing leaderboards for these courses are maintained. Added a new obstacle type, the water jump. Make sure you ride with a sufficiently long canter to clear the water! This new obstacle has been included on 4 previously existing courses as well as 6 of the new courses. Significantly increased the horses' sensitivity to turning: you can now make much sharper turns, like in real life show jumping. The horses will also tend towards a straight trajectory faster than before when you release the joystick. Added branding to some of the obstacles to inc…
