Dear players of Dawnmaker,First, thanks a lot to all of you who reported the performance problems you encountered with Dawnmaker on Mac since the last update. Second, my apologies for taking so long to fix the issue! But here it is: Dawnmaker should now be running as smoothly on Mac as on all other platforms. If you want to know more about what happened, read on, otherwise, go play Dawnmaker! :DSo, here's the long-form story of what happened and why it took so long to fix.I do not own any Apple software and am not familiar with development on that platform. I initially released Dawnmaker on Mac because it was possible to do so from my hardware (Linux user here :) ) and it seemed to be running fine. However, for a reason unknown to me, after the March update it started runningโฆ not fine, not fine at all, on recent Mac hardware. It was reported to me, but having no Mac available at the tiโฆ

Dear players, We've released a big quality-of-life update of Dawnmaker at the end of last week, and a minor update with bug fixes today. Here are the major changes these updates bring: Added an option, when picking a character, to enable infinite retries. This option allows you to replay regions you lost as many times as you like, and prevents losing a run. Reworked a bunch of interfaces (as part of our work on the mobile version). For example, the Character selection screen has been completely revamped, and buildings in the market are now in a separate column and with miniatures instead of the full card. Enabled the Steam Overlay. And a bunch of small bug fixes! As usual, we thank you for playing Dawnmaker! Start a new game of Dawnmaker today and meet Sibille, Cassian and Thรฉa. Each has a specific starting deck and starting roster of buildings, as well as a difficulty indicator. Sibille is the one you know if you've played the game already: she likes fields and wonders. Cassian is more of science guy: he likes activation buildings and spending science to generate luminoil.
