Hello Detectives, I've just posted an update to Home Detective which brings us up to verison 1.2.3. This includes an entirely new Spanish (text) translation by Micaela Rivero, and a bugfix which should help some people who were finding UI input didn't work in some cases. Enjoy! David
- v1.2.1 Update - Datapads, Tool Layout and Others - 10 February 2024
Hello Detectives, another small update is heading your way. In v1.2.1, I have fixed the bug where sometimes datapads would not scroll, which I know was annoying for some players. The tools have had their layout tweaked slightly to avoid unintentionally pressing the "Reconstruct Crime" button when picking up the Latent Data Detector, and there have been a few other small fixes. To check you're on the latest version, just open the Credits screen from the main menu. Thanks! David
- v1.2.0 Update - 2 February 2024
Hello Detectives, what would any game launch be nowadays without a Day 1 patch?? A reviewer discovered an issue where you could accidentally press buttons using your body, which might result in some unintentional answers during the crime scene reconstruction. This has been corrected so that buttons can only be pressed with your hands. There has also been a fix to subtitles and confessions, so if you noticed they weren't playing back properly, that has now been fixed. To make sure you're playing with these fixes, you can go to the Credits screen and check that your version is 1.2.0 or above. If you don't have the update yet, sometimes restarting Steam can trigger a check for game updates.
