WORLD SETTING Civilization entered an age of rapid technological advancement, but Earth's resources were depleting at an alarming rate. In a desperate effort to secure humanity's future, pioneers were sent to the Moon, where they uncovered a miraculous substance known as Blackstone—a limitless energy source capable of renewing other resources. There was just one problem: Blackstone became inert the moment it left the Moon.
