- v. 1.0.0 The final demo - 25 July 2024
Hi! It's done. The content for the full game is ready. There will be: - 18 Unique worlds, each posing a different challenge - 29 Perks that can be unlocked by ingame currency - 9 package types - each has an impact on your ship and game difficulty. Not impressed? That's 189* different package configurations! - 11 achievements pushing you to explore and interact with the world - 5 repetitive (as: non random) speedrunning levels with timer and score tracking The final version is ready. I would love to release at the end of August, but I want to have a simultaneous release here and on Switch so the final date depends on Nintendo. The full version will be available for Youtubers until then. As for the demo release v 1.0.0.44 it does not bring anything new, but a ton of bugfixes, graphical improvements, and a rebalance that matches the final version. Changelog Added - (Tutorial) Explanation t…
- v. 0.7.0 Flying with the big boys - 18 July 2024
Hi! It's been some time but I wast mostly working on the new content for the full version. I can confirm the full version will feature 18 LEVELS The perk number is growing, and sits currently at 30 and I'm not done yet. Have any suggestions? Go on! Now for the update... You can now leave the designated zone. But only for 5 seconds (and since the signal is very weak, expect a low control response). Once you stayed too long, the rescue ship will collect you (this will damage your reputation with the nearest planet that dispatches the ship!). QoL - or prettyfying in this case (I can't help it - I just like experimenting too much). A nicer tooltip - now with the animated pictogram. Changelog Added - Slight gravity to HUB to hold ship in center - Parenthesis to the font - Shuttle that takes away disabled ship - 8 new levels (available in full version!) - 3 new planets (available in full vers…
- v. 0.6.2 NextFest Hotfix - 13 June 2024
Thank's a lot for the help with pinpointing the controller issues. It's the smallest update yet but probably the most important. Have fun flying!
- v. 0.6.1 Are we there yet? - 24 May 2024
Wonder if you're already the best courier in the universe? There's now a clear visualisation to your career progress! Radar shows collectibles! Some say levels are too easy, some say levels are too hard. Remember not to judge difficulty of the whole game by its first (easier) level. A hazard property is now displayed for each world to hint at how dangerous/hard it is to fly there. Also: font now has proper slashes. Wonder which type of perk can be used as a loadout? Well, now it should be obvious: the passive ones. Mind the color sheme is now different. Changelog Added - Displaying achievement unlock progress in main menu - Proper slashes to the font - Career progression in Galaxy View - Hazard (difficulty) rating for each world - Radar shows collectibles Changed - Renamed planet T8-IGHT+RRA to TR4-PIST - Swapped perks color scheme Updated - Widith of certain font characters (easier rea…
- v. 0.5.1 Ready for a challenge? - 8 May 2024
The most notable change is addition of Steam API: Stats & Achievements The demo comes equipped with 3 achievements just to get a handle on the UI. The gallery can be accessed from the main menu: The full version will have at least 14 Achievements of varying challenge level. Some will be stat based. The nicest QoL change is display of signal sources. It got optimized, crisper graphics and does not require any additional input. The zones are now displayed when ship gets close to the boundary. Changelog Added - Achievements gallery - Few demo achievements Changed - Made asteroid belt a little wider - Showing out of signal zone when near it - Less noise near "no signal" zones Removed - Pinging Fixed - Discord invite - More detailed asteroid collision boxes - No packages overlapping in exams
- v. 0.5 Take it easy! - 17 April 2024
The most notable difference is a whole new level! Let's start simple, with fewer obstacles and less gravity. Your first assignment is to make deliveries on an asteroid mining site! Also, you will start with a self healing package (with a slightly longer heal time of course), but still the first steps you'll take won't be as punishing. Changelog Added - Self healing package type - New level (first, much easier one) Changed - Displaying only relevant pickup and dropoff zones - Improved contrast of planetoids - Limited the scope of the demo - Normal package license can be bought whenever ready Updated - Performance optimizations Fixed - Exams can be taken once discovered
- Feedback changes & Bugfixes 0.4.0 - 8 April 2024
The most notable difference is that you now collide with planets. Other graphics were also altered so now it should be perfectly clear what you can collide with and what is just a decoration. Changelog Added - Full controller support in Galaxy Map, Exams and Tutorial - Minimap keymap hint - Pausing game when joycons are disconnected - Accept button cue in main menu Changed - Better, in-detail tutorial - More contrasty Sputnik - Glitch planet broadcasts signal constantly - Planets are now collidable - Easier first level - Slower asteroid rings around planets - Better docking bay graphics - Less inertia on ship rotation (more precise controls) Fixed - Reward selection with controller - Some unlocks costing 0 coins - Pinging animation - Multiple selection highlights in menu - Hardlock in menu - Fall from menu through Galaxy view straight to gameplay (w/ controllers) - Meteor despawns and p…
- Bugfixes 0.3.3 - 21 March 2024
Fixed all the bugs found during the playtesting session: Added - Sounds in main menu Updated - Full controller support in main menu Fixed - PlayStation joystick glyphs - Glitch planet appearance - Static at the end of the exam - Engine particles disappearing after speedrun restart
- Demo Update 0.3.2 - 19 March 2024
As majority of my time currently goes towards release of Switch demo, I do still work on the game overall. Here comes a list of changes: Added - Changelog - Text transitions - Tooltips in galaxy map - Controller Glyphs for xBox, PS and Nintendo controllers - Ship makes sounds when flying Changed - Opening Main Menu pauses the game - Digital target tracker to analog one Fixed - Key mapping in main menu - Correct background scaling regardless of aspect ratio - Cursor disappearing while dragging - NRE in message system if noone's listening - Opening main menu when game is paused - proper version name displayed in main menu - controller navigation in shops - "Invalid Platform" Steam error on some OS devices
- Early Access Demo - 7 March 2024
We want to improve the game, and we are constantly working on making it better. For now, it is a form of free early-access title, so there might be bugs, or upcoming breaking changes. The demo currently does not depict the final state of the game. Please share your thoughts, ideas and any bugs you find.
