- Devlog 02/01/25 - New year, similar goals, and, more updates about them! - 2 January 2025
The following year has been stormy for us on the Dissecting Love team. There's no need to get into the nitty gritty, you, dear reader, don't know us like that. However, you do know us well enough to hear about the future, and how bright it's looking. You see, it's worked itself out in a way where a lot of the things keeping us from giving you regular updates have cleared themselves out just in time for the start of the new year. This means we're gonna be very on top of our shit, as the kids say, moving forwards. As the person in charge of the yappin on the team, I am simply intending to get real loud with it, get the word out and hope to get some people to find out about all the cool stuff the actual gamedev on the team is doing. When i asked him about how he'd like to summarize the year and the plans for the coming year, he said "Yeah chaotic with a lot of conventions and now we're get…
- The demo is live, people! - 15 November 2024
We have now, as we speak, posted the demo for you to play, and are so excited to see what you think about it! Please, let us know all your thoughts, and feedback. It's a first sneak peak at the game, what we have now and a good view of what will come. Basically, if you like the vibe here, but would like a longer more interactive version in a good few months, you should definitely wishlist it cause that is very much what we are planning to give you! So please, try the demo, and tell us everything about what you experienced, if there was any bugs, and of course, if you had fun :) Cheerio, ///Buck
- Devlog 10/11/24 - We've possibly lied but it's okay because we fixed it! - 10 November 2024
Hi there, everyone! We did sound more certain than we possibly had the right to be that the demo was done and coming oh, so soon in our last devlog, HOWEVER, not to worry, cause now the demo is done! We will be posting it on the 15th, and you will be able to play it, and we will be so happy to hear your thoughts
- Devlog 8/9/24 - It continues. - 8 September 2024
Hi gang! Updates since last devlog: We’ve gotten further along with the work on the new demo, and as we speak, at this time, it is basically, basically done and ready to be uploaded for all of you lovely people to try out! As it stands we’ve had a few hiccups that have delayed us posting it a little longer than intended, but unless we have some real bad luck it will be uploaded in a short little while. We look forwards, anxiously, to showing you what we have so far and we look forwards, with excitement, to hearing what you have to say. Other than that we’ve made a first little short video to promote the game, that has been uploaded to our social medias. There will be more of that coming soon, and if you’d like to be updated on this and also talk with us in the comments, you should check it out and follow us! We’re on Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube. The workload of having one person makin…
- Devlog 30/8/24 - It begins. - 30 August 2024
Hello everyone! With a little more than a year left until the official release of Dissecting Love, we’ve decided it’s time to start being a little bit more communicative with you about the progress. This is why we’ve decided we’ll from now on write a shorter weekly devlog, to tell you what’s been going on and what we’ve been up to. This week, our programming, graphics, and music team (the one guy making this game) has been at Gamescom in Cologne, helping out a friend with their project, which means he’s not been able to do much in the ways of programming, graphics, and music. However, this following week is very packed as we’re planning to have the demo done on the 1st of September, which means he has a lot of bug fixing and general poking around ahead of him. Our marketing team, me, got started this week as well. I’ll be the one posting a devlog here every week. I’ll also be making som…
