If you don't recognize this game but it's already in your library, here's the scoop: up 'til recently, it had a whole different presence on the Steam store. Some particularly prickly, inflexible folks—those infamously known for feasting on Doritos and Mountain Dew while conducting serious journalism (TM)—took umbrage with this art. Truly, the supposed champions of gaming came after a game, the very thing they purport to defend! A playful game, no less, dedicated to parody, satire, and any other comedy-infused legal defenses I may make in the future. But I guess when you run an Oscars knockoff with Gillette razor ads and Highguard promos running through it, you can't afford to laugh at yourself. Hey everyone. Congrats on making it to today, otherwise known as a full week after THE GAME AWARDS launched. Life's hard, and reaching March 2024 is no small achievement. I'm proud of you. But we're not here to talk about pride; we're here to talk about feedback. Those of you who've tried the game: What are your thoughts? Barring my, erm, not-so-adequately explained save system (Steam forums are no substitute for proper in-game labeling!), any big criticisms or questions you want to dole out? Also, if you enjoyed any part of the experience, by all means, leave a review. Those things are a real PITA to secure and are the difference between Undertale-level success and an Eastern European developer losing his house because his tiny Steam game didn't secure enough rubles via Steam store exposure.
