- [RUMBLE BLAZING Development Progress Report] Outfits, Animations - 6 August 2026
Hello, everyone!I recently realized that I hardly have any hobbies left that do not involve computers or video games! This is Nekonomemem. The other day, I happened to come across a certain garage kit on Surugaya’s online store. It was something I had wanted a long time ago, but I gave up on it because I did not have the skills or money to build it.I never thought I would still be able to get one, so I bought it on impulse! And I decided to take this opportunity to make garage kits and plastic models my new hobbies!I have been working at my computer constantly lately, and my eyes have been getting tired, so I had been thinking that I wanted a more active hobby that would not involve staring at a monitor and would also give me a reason to go outside. This came at just the right time! (lol)However, at this rate I could go on talking about my hobbies forever, so let me give you a progress u…

- [RUMBLE BLAZING] Program code cleanup and optimization - 26 June 2026
Hello, everyone. It’s been a while!I’m writing this post while riding the excitement of finally feeling like I’m about to reach a stopping point in the current work.I’m very sorry for keeping you waiting and for taking so long to provide an update. Thank you very much for all your comments as well, and I apologize for not being able to reply to them. The work wasn’t progressing as smoothly as I had hoped, and I was having a pretty difficult time mentally, which made it hard for me to post any updates. However, I have finally almost finished reorganizing the program code, and I will begin debugging tomorrow.Once the debugging is complete, I plan to release an update. Ideally, I would like to release it by the end of this month, or by early July at the latest. This update is mainly intended to optimize the development process, so there will not be any major changes to the game itself.I remov…
- I am continuing with the work. - 5 April 2026
This is a progress update regarding the current state of development.First of all, I sincerely apologize for the delay in updating this dev log.At present, I am working on optimizing the game. The reason for the delay is that this optimization process has proven to be more challenging than expected.Much of the difficulty comes from the complexity of previously written code and motion-related settings. In particular, during the early stages of development—when I was working with 3D and Unity for the first time—I built many systems through trial and error. As a result, there are overlapping variables and redundant code, as well as inconsistencies in motion settings. Additionally, the adjustments required to resolve these issues have not always worked as intended on the first attempt, leading to repeated revisions. To be honest, the past few months have been quite challenging on a personal le…
- [Great News!? My PC’s Dead!!] Guess It’s Time for a New Rig! - 10 October 2025
My main PC died last week...It had been freezing quite often recently, so I had a feeling this day might be coming—and unfortunately, it finally did.I tried various recovery methods, but since it showed similar symptoms to when my sub PC failed before, it’s probably the SSD that gave out this time.Come to think of it, I’ve been using this PC for over five years now. Considering that I’ve been running Unity and Maya almost every day, it’s impressive it lasted this long under such heavy workload.I did consider sending it in for repairs, but since it would take time to ship and return—and the cost was uncertain—I decided to take the plunge and buy a new PC instead!I ordered it from Dospara again, and to my surprise, it arrived much faster than expected. I was prepared to wait one or two weeks, but I received the shipping notice within just two or three days!It arrived this week, and after…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING Update] Big Changes to the Camera System and more... - 22 August 2025
RUMBLE BLAZING has been updated. The main changes are as follows: Addendum: Regarding the Steam version, I believe the F9 key is set to take screenshots by default in the Steam settings. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please change the settings or turn it off while playing. Update Details ver_3020 Move: Added Back Hold Move: Added prototype of Punishment Game: Shell Matching Costume: Added Ring Costume Costume: Added option to select stockings at character select Camera: Overhauled camera system Camera: Added system for switching cameras during move loops Graphics: Fog and Tone Mapping can now be toggled with F8/F9 keys (temporary implementation) (The in-game update section says F9/F10, but it should be F8/F9. We will correct this in the next update.) Graphics: Adjusted and optimized lighting in the following stages: Forest Stage Test Stage Test Arena (Prototype) Test Club (Pro…
- 次回アップデート時の注意事項 - 22 August 2025
Important Notes for the Next Update Here are some important notes regarding the next update. About the impact of the update This update will include changes to character axes, adjustments to lighting, and major improvements to the camera system. In particular, the camera improvements may have unpredictable impacts on system performance depending on your play environment. On my own system, I haven’t noticed much change, but since I cannot verify each player’s environment, the potential effects remain uncertain. Previous Version Included For this update, the DLSite and FANZA versions will include the previous version “Ver3005” inside the “Omake” folder. On the Steam version, “Ver3005” will be selectable under the Beta branch. Important note when reverting to the previous version: The latest version adds new costumes. Therefore, once you launch the latest version, this costume data will be…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING] Update schedule and progress report - 19 August 2025
We noticed a mistake during debugging— I forgot to add a camera for the “punishment” scene after a match ends. That said, there are fewer motions here compared to during the match. Especially since there are fewer intro, exit, and release animations, it shouldn’t take too much time. For the past few days I’ve been working on this extra task, and about 90% is done— just one motion left to go. So, while I originally planned the update for the 20th–25th, now that things are more concrete, I’ll be aiming for August 26th as the update date. And there’s another addition: While debugging the new camera system, something really started bothering me. …The UI is in the way!! Because the new camera sometimes zooms in pretty close, things like the HP bar end up being really distracting. I already made it possible to hide the command list, but I figured it would be better if the whole UI could be hi…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING Progress Report] Continuing from yesterday. - 12 August 2025
Here's some additional feature information I forgot to mention yesterday. You can now turn fog on and off and change between four different tone mapping types during a match. I was having trouble adjusting the post-effects while tweaking the lighting... "This brightness and blurriness are good..." "Yeah, this one is good too..." "Um, yeah, this one's good too..." "Which one should I choose?!!" After much deliberation, I decided, why not just let the player choose?! So I implemented it temporarily. This fog and tone mapping don't just change the brightness, but they actually change the texture quite a bit. You might like a crisp look, or a slightly blurrier look. I think it will change skin texture quite a bit. Sweat texture in particular changes significantly. You'll have fun changing it to suit your mood that day. - [RUMBLE BLAZING Update] Here’s what’s coming up! - 11 August 2025
Lately I’ve been busy debugging the new special moves we added and tweaking some stage lighting that caught my eye along the way. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be spending a couple of days teaching the AI (CPU) how to use the new moves. Then it’s on to the final round of debugging! Since this update is a pretty big one, I’m giving it a bit more time—right now I’m aiming to roll it out between August 20th and 25th. Thanks for hanging in there—it’s almost ready! This is a video of the debugging process for the new camera system.
- [RUMBLE BLAZING Progress Update] Almost There!! - 25 July 2025
Long time no see! The heat lately has been brutal. Recently, I’ve been going for walks early in the morning and around sunset to stay active and take care of my health. Also, food and nutrition are so important! I've been making sure to eat balanced meals and supplementing what’s lacking with vitamins. Thanks to that, I’ve been feeling great lately! DHA and citrulline supplements might actually be working pretty well for me. 😄 It looks like the hot weather will continue for a while, so please take good care of yourselves! A Quick Progress UpdateI’ll go into more detail in the progress report at the beginning of August, but since I’ve reached a good stopping point, here’s a quick update. Earlier this month, I was working on creating a new system for axes and cameras. The camera system is now complete, and I’ve applied axis adjustments and added camera settings to all existing moves. Cur…
- Sometimes things don't go well, but... - 1 July 2025
Sorry for the delay in posting this update.I'm feeling much better now, and my work pace is picking up again. That said, I’m trying not to push myself too hard… though honestly, I’m not sure I can keep that up (lol).Actually, lately it feels like my PC is the one that’s starting to act up more than I am (lol).Progress UpdateRight now, I’m in the middle of some major internal adjustments, so I’ll keep this report short.■ Current TaskAt the moment, I’m working on adjusting the character axes during the transition into and during special moves.I mentioned a bit about this on Twitter, but currently, each character has their own axis. When a move starts, the opponent is moved to a set distance from the attacker based on that axis, and then animations are synced accordingly. This system makes things flow more smoothly—especially for grabbing-type moves—but it does come with a downside: lower w…
- Return Announcement and Progress Update! - 13 May 2025
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for taking a break without any updates for the past few months. Thank you for your concern, and I’m sorry to have kept you waiting for an update. Over the past few months, my health has been up and down, which made it hard to find the right timing to write updates. However, I’m happy to report that my health has finally stabilized, so I’m officially back! As I mentioned before, stress was likely a major factor in my condition. I thought I had recovered after taking a month off, but as soon as I started working again, my health started fluctuating every other day. I was hesitant to share my situation because I wasn’t confident in my own recovery, and honestly, there were days when I thought it was all over, struggling with constant back pain that kept me up at night. So, this time, I decided to fully step away from game development and focus on…
- RUMBLE BLAZING UPDATE! - 28 December 2024
So, my computer froze while I was writing this article earlier... And now I can’t remember what I wrote!!! Here’s what I do remember: Also, the version displayed in the top-right corner of the game’s menu screen still shows as 2910, but if the update history shows 3005, that’s the new version. The new physics for jiggle effects and the standing kiss move... It’s looking great! I know it’s weird for the creator to say this, but... It’s great!! I hope you’ll enjoy it! Update Details ver_3005 Move: Added standing kiss (female only) Outfit: Added nurse outfit Outfit: Modified the skirt for Little Devil outfit Item: Added handcuffs Shop: Added nurse outfit, outfit colors, and handcuffs to the shop Physics: Adjusted physics for chest, hair, skirt, etc. Options: Added a setting to adjust chest jiggle Options: Updated the behavior of "Physics" under graphics settings Other: Corrected typos in t…
- 【RUMBLE BLAZING Progress Report】Kiss Animation Nearing Completion and Various Up - 14 December 2024
Feeling the increasing cold these days Did you catch the Geminid meteor shower last night? I totally missed it, haha. Right now, I’m working on the final year-end update for this year! Wait, is it really the end of the year already?! I’ll keep pushing through! Kiss Animation Almost Complete The kiss animation is finally at the stage where the facial expressions and tongue movements are complete. What’s left is to create the unlock and disengage motions, and then do some fine adjustments like tweaking the fingertips and other small details. It should be ready to integrate into the game in 2-3 days. The animation video can be viewed on the Cien website linked below. https://ci-en.dlsite.com/creator/1072/article/1309266 Struggles with the Disengage Motion For now, I plan to return both characters to a standing position after the disengage motion. However, this raises questions like, “How d…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING Progress Report] Costumes and handcuffs added to the game and ot - 30 November 2024
The hardest thing for humans to do is maintain the status quo... Yes, humans are greedy... And so I did it... my back (lol) Oh, it's not serious, so don't worry! This is why I couldn't post a work report last week. Well, I've been making good progress lately, so I got greedy and my work hours increased all at once. Usually, I take a break every hour or two and go for a walk or jog once a day, but when I'm feeling too good, I end up thinking, "I'll make a little more progress and then take a break..." "Just a little more..." "I guess I can't exercise today..." It happens every time, but when I'm calm, I can consciously take a break, but when I get a mysterious boost, I lose myself or something... (lol) That's why I thought sitting for a long time would make it worse, so I cut down on my work a little last week and this week. It usually takes about an hour to write an article about my pro…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING progress report] MAGICA CLOTH2 transition almost complete! - 16 November 2024
I watched TV for the first time in a while and got annoyed with the policy. I've been staring at numbers all this time and I think I'm getting stressed out. Also, my PC has been acting up a lot lately, so I'm feeling a bit worried. I've been working a lot on 3D (lol) Anyway, here's a progress report! # A quick glossary of terms Magica Cloth is a paid, swaying asset that can be used with Unity, the game engine used to create this game. By installing this, you can make clothes, breasts, and hair sway with physical behavior within Unity. In other words, you can add a function that makes things sway in various ways when the character moves. # Migration to Magica Cloth2 almost complete I've been upgrading to Magica Cloth2 since last time, and I've finished migrating each character's breasts, hair, and clothes. All that's left is to set the parameters for the fine amount of swaying. The breas…
- RUMBLE BLAZING progress report This week is short. - 8 November 2024
As I mentioned last week, I was currently studying and testing the new MagicaCloth2. So now I know how to use it, and I have a good chance of transitioning from the first generation. We are reassigning each character. It is necessary to reassign the breasts, hair, and costumes of all female characters, Since there are many setting items, mistakes may occur if you leave a gap, so I'm currently concentrating on my work. Therefore, I will give a short report this week.
- [RUMBLE BLAZING progress report] Animation and shaking object test - 2 November 2024
What! They're releasing something called DOAXVV Prism!! ...There's not even one original character from DOA lol As a DOA fan since the first game, I want them to release original characters when talking about DOA. But I believe that if the series continues as DOA, they will release DOA7 someday. Also, I've been wanting to play FF7 Rebirth lately, so I thought I might buy a PS5... but the only games I want to play are FF and Stellar Blade... I'm holding back because I think it's stupid to buy a PS5 just for two games. If they release DOA7 and Lambrose, I'll buy it right away (lol) I really think the criterion for buying a game is the characters. One more week, yay~ Now, a progress report. Continued motion production Currently, I'm still working on the standing kiss motion. The video was shot a few days ago, and we are currently working on creating a looping motion. This is the work of ad…
- [RUMBLE BLAZING progress report] Creating the standing kiss motion - 25 October 2024
First of all... I was so focused on writing this article that I missed the intercom and almost missed receiving the rice that was delivered (lol) I like the evil queen! These days, the flashy ring costumes are nice, but the old-fashioned one-piece swimsuit-style ring costumes are good too! Julian's acting is good, but a beautiful actress is still the best... (lol) That's what I've been thinking lately (lol) Interested in Unity6 I've recently started to get a bit interested in Unity6. It has new features and graphics processing seems to have improved, so I'd like to introduce it if it can make processing easier, since it's a game with a lot of polygons. I tried to upgrade my current project to Unity6 as is the other day, and an error occurred with the Magica Cloth asset used for swinging, but after deleting it, it seems to work fine. I think it should be fine if I change Magica Cloth to…
