• Japanese! 日本語! - 31 March 2025

  The game can now be played in Japanese language. (A Japanese voice over for prologue and epilogue will be added soon, too.)

• Minor bug fix - 9 March 2025

  The "all opinions" achievement is now easier to achieve.

• Charlie and Harry fix - 9 March 2025

  There was an issue that some opinions of Harry and Charlie could not be collected. This has now been fixed: Harry's opinion had simply not been displayed which is now automatically fixed when you restart the game. Charlie's opinion could previously not been obtained due to a bug. You can now visit Charlie at his home in the "blue" scenario to collect it. Thank you for reporting this bug and for your patience.

• Taiwanese and all achievements - 8 March 2025

  We have included a Taiwanese localization (so far only a first version that we will improve further) and have also fixed one more bug in the achievements that prevented some players from achieving the final achievements. We apologize for the delays and thank you for your patience.

  Achievements seemed to be fixed now for everyone. If you had any achievements not registered in the past days, please restart the game and you should get them automatically. • The Beautiful Island – Game play and a talk with the author - 31 May 2024

  The lead author of "The Beautiful Island" will present the game to you. He will also answer questions from players about the background of the story and how the game was made. Of course, there will also be some time for a quick look at other games from TLS, "Sweet Science" and "The Last Secret".
