We're excited to announce that we finally have an official community Discord server! We want to try out having a place for people following the game to get the very latest development updates, and just generally hang out. It's something new for our team, so we'll see how it goes! - 1.3.5 Demo Update (Performance + Settings autodetection) - 13 January 2026
We've made a small update to the demo, focused on performance enhancements and some minor bugfixes. Here's the change list:Added an automatic benchmark feature, available in the Graphics tab of the options menu. This feature will run a brief systems test and change the graphics settings to an appropriate preset based on your results. This should be useful for Steam Deck users especially. A prompt asking if you'd like to use this feature will also appear upon first launch of the game for that device (or if you delete your user settings from the install directory) The autodetect benchmark is fairly cautious, so if you run it but feel like we might be underestimating your machine, go ahead and turn some of the settings back up.Enabled some mistakenly-disabled culling settings that should lead to better performance in the amphitheater.Optimized various geometry in the amphitheater level.Imp…

We've updated the Clever Girls Demo! This update focus on addressing crashes, bugfixes and major refinements. We're planning on releasing more updates too! Hey all! Here's an update on development: Some changes in our release timeline, and the first of a series of "Gameplay Spotlights". And, as always, some concept doodles to close us out. DEMO RELEASE TIMELINE UPDATE In our previous news post and showcase debut trailer, we announced that our "Dress Rehearsal" demo would release Fall 2024. However, we're now changing that date, and are planning to release the demo to the public within the first quarter of 2025. The reason behind this delay is to improve the demo's stability, performance, and mechanical depth as much as possible. While we're very excited to let everyone play, we also want to make sure the experience is free of crashes, softlocks, performance problems, and any other jank that might get in the way of your dinosaur-based adventures.
