- Haunted Paws Graphical Overhaul || Dev Diary #2 - 14 May 2026
Hey everyone!As promised, we’ll now be sharing Haunted Paws development updates every month! This month’s update is all about our graphical overhaul.After the playtest, we received feedback that some of our scenes didn’t feel detailed enough, and we took that seriously. Since then, we’ve been working hard to make the game look prettier, richer, and more atmospheric.Here are some comparisons between the playtest version - some screenshots are even older - and the current version. We’re also updating all of our NPCs, starting with the detective cat and the spider enemies. We decided to turn them into weird but cute Voidlings. - Future Plans of Haunted Paws || Dev Diary #1 - 24 April 2026
Hey everyone! We have some Haunted Paws news to share! Since our Halloween playtest, we’ve been hard at work on the rest of the game. In the playtest, you got to experience part of Chapter 1, but the full game will have 4 chapters in total - each with its own levels, enemies, bosses, NPCs, and many surprises. We’ve been quiet for a while because we’ve been focused on fixing issues you found during the playtest and continuing development of the rest of the game, but that’s changing now. From now until release, we’ll be sharing development updates every month! We’re not ready to share demo or release dates yet, but we’re getting closer to those and other big announcements. - Haunted Paws - End of Playtest - 5 January 2026
Today we officially close our playtest. If you received access earlier, you were able to play it up until today. From now on, the playtest will no longer be available. Thank you to everyone who tried our playtest. It was rough in some places, but that helped us clearly see what needs improvement before release. We had a lot of playtesters - 375,984 to be exact - which means we received hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of feedback (bugs, improvements, and suggestions). This will definitely help us release the best game we can. Later this year, we’ll share more information about the upcoming demo and the full game release, so stay tuned and be ready to continue the journey you started during the playtest - the game will have a lot more content! - Online Delayed + Playtest Extended - 7 November 2025
We’re currently experiencing some issues with our online multiplayer. Since we have a huge number of playtesters (almost 300,000!), we want to make sure you get the smoothest, most bug-free experience possible. Because of that, we’re delaying the multiplayer release until next week.To make up for the delay, we’re also extending the Playtest period so you can enjoy the game for longer!Thank you all so much for playing, sharing feedback, and supporting us.
