Hello everyone! Tiani Pixel here!I realized something recently: while we've been regularly sharing updates about ABYSS X ZERO on YouTube, Bluesky, X and TikTok, we haven't been posting those updates here on Steam. That means that if you only follow the game on Steam, it might have looked like the project went quiet, or even dead. That's completely on us, and I'm sorry about that! The truth is: ABYSS X ZERO is not dead! Not at all! We've been working on it every day (literally) ever since we announced it. Well, they call them metroidvanias, but they also call them search-action games. Let's just go with that for the rest of this article, see how it feels... Read more.

• This upcoming metroidvania reminds me of Kill La Kill and Mega Man Legends - 7 March 2024

The two-person studio behind 2021's tip-top top-down action-RPG Unsighted yesterday announced their next game, a 3D metroidvania named Abyss X Zero . It's not out for a while yet but its look already reminds me of two things: the pleasingly clean art style of Mega Man Legends and the edgy anime schoolgirl styles of Kill La Kill. See for yourself in the announcement trailer below. Read more
