  Happy Monday gardeners! You might have noticed a patch already having been downloaded for the game! It's no dramatic changes but here's what's included: Added gamepad aim assist Fixed instrument playing visual effect whilst lowered Fixed SFX setting navigation Fixed missing camera sensitivity setting for Xbox and PS gamepads Fixed dual wielding through dominant hand switching in main menu Re-implemented dominant hand setting in-game Increased font sizes in menu book Fixed missing Asian language glyphs Happy playing! • Save Directory Fix and Quality of Life Patch - 5 November 2024

  Good afternoon Gardeners! We’re happy to share with you our first post-release patch for Garden of the Sea! Mainly this patch makes sure that VR and non-VR saves are stored and loaded separately for players who own both versions of the game but we’ve included some neat tweaks as well! Save directory fix Various gameplay improvements and fixes; including but not limited to small changes to item functionality, world collision and other quality of life tweaks UI fixes for SteamDeck Please let us know if there are any specific issues ailing your experience! The best way to do that is to join our Discord if you need help or want to talk to us! We’re (mostly😈) nice!

  We’re thrilled to welcome you ALL to Garden of the Sea, our sweet Farming-sim adventure, created from the core by the power of LOVE! Garden of the Sea (as we suspect most of you know) was originally released across various VR platforms but through our desire to bring it to even more players it brought the creation of our first ever non-VR title. Translating the game from VR to a more traditional format has been full of challenges and enjoyment both! We won’t go into deep detail on that today (though I’m sure we will in the future!).   Hello friends! We're so excited to let you know Garden of the Sea is arriving on Steam and the Nintendo Switch for non-VR users on October 3rd! As the real world may be hard and cold but in this version of Garden of the Sea we hope to invite more players to a soft and warm place. In case you didn’t know, this is going to be the Steam version of our cozy first-person VR farming sim. We’ve modified it to be playable on PC and are really happy with the results, so we’re hyped to get it in your hands!   Hello everyone!! We revealed some super duper exciting news at the Wholesome Direct this weekend: Garden of the Sea is getting a non-VR version!! We know some folks have been eyeing our game, which was originally released in 2019, but don’t play in VR, or have wanted to share this game with friends who don’t have VR. We also know that we’ve gotten such a lovely reception on our cozy farming sim that it felt like a waste of an opportunity to not try making it playable for way more people. So behold: later this year, we’re releasing Garden of the Sea, with all of its original features and charms, on Steam! It will have mainstream controller support, and SteamDeck compatibility, so you can just sit back and relax while fishing, watering your plants, or petting the native creatures that live on your island.
