• Tower of Nod 1.0, out now! - 24 October 2024

  It's finally here! The full version of Tower of Nod is out now and I'm so excited to share it with you all. In 1.0 you can experience the full tower featuring all three areas, a complete ending, unlockable characters, and achievements! Thank you to all who have been following the game's progress, Time to get climbing!

• New Character: The Highwayman - 4 September 2024

  Hello! This exciting update introduces a new character the Highwayman, which is available to play right away! Although he starts with 0 gold, the Highwayman has access to two unique pieces Wealth and Swipe to help generate large amounts of gold quickly. Wealth gives more and more gold the longer it sits unactivated, while Swipe can be used to consume the abilities of nearby blocks for a massive amount of gold instantly. Use them wisely and don't let the promise of gold distract you from your true goal! The Highwayman is unlocked instantly and accessible via the character select screen in version 0.2.12. Additionally, this update introduces the first Difficulty Modifier preferences. If you're looking for a more laid-back experience, feel free to customize the lava speed and piece-falling speed to suit your needs. You can find these in a new tab in the options menu. Enjoy!

• Demo Update v0.2.0 - Run Customization and More! - 6 August 2024

  Hello everyone! While there has been many smaller updates to the Tower of Nod demo so far, this one is worth calling extra attention to. Most notably, v0.2.0 introduces Run Customization! This allows you to experiment with Tower of Nod however you'd like by choosing your starting character's Relics and Piece Library. You can use this to lower or increase the run's difficulty, test out interesting synergies, or discover new effects! Also included in Run Customization is the ability to set the run's seed for consistent level generation and RNG. Seeds for runs can now be viewed on the pause screen.
