- 2024 in Review and Future Plans - 9 April 2025
Hi everyone, 2024 was a transformative year for the studio, as we finally achieved relative stability and adequate resources to expand the scope of our projects and develop them at a healthy pace. Thank you for supporting us through this journey and the growing pains. I'd like to share my thoughts about our releases in 2024, as well as games the studio contributed to, and plans for 2025. Dragon Ruins As a long-time fan of David Allen's work (Mordor, Demise), I was surprised that no one created a successor to his games, so I decided to do it myself. Dragon Ruins started as a jam game to test the core gameplay and then reworked into an enhanced commercial version to test the waters. It became a hit for us and showed we weren't alone in wanting another game like this. We released a follow-up in January 2025, which also sold very well. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2929540/Dragon_Ruins…

Adjusted monster data Fixed resource usage if VSync was force-disabled via driver settings Fixed a minor text overflow issue
- Update Notes for June 18, Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo -- Final - 18 June 2024
Fixed a long-standing bug that could softlock the game if the player died while moving through doors or between battles. I apologize for the long delay with this issue. This bug was difficult to track down since it required almost frame-perfect precision and hundreds of attempts to reproduce, fix, and confirm. Thank you for being so patient. On another note, you can press ESC+D to generate a dump file (gamestate.dmp) if you encounter a game-breaking issue. The file will be located at c:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\Graverobber Foundation\Dragon Ruins\, next to the logs and save files. If you provide a dump along with the logs, this will make troubleshooting a lot easier in the future.

- Steam Version Details & FAQ - 16 April 2024
Hi everyone, Since Dragon Ruins started as a Dungeon Crawler Jam 2024 game and the Steam version came together very quickly, I'd like to answer a few common questions. How long is it? It's about 2-3 hours long. You can squeeze more playtime out of it by trying a different party or trying the NG+ mode, which gives monsters a small stat boost and increases their numbers. How much will it cost? The base price is $4.99. What are the changes from the jam version? Here's a short list: Redesigned the dungeon; Added two optional bosses; Added new monster types; Added party creation; Added 4 new character classes; Added magic circles that teleport you back to town; Added a shop where you can purchase consumables, such as Medicine and Teleporter Scrolls; Added fast travel back to town in exchange for half of your gold; Added scrollable fullscreen automap; Added new music; Added intro and ending s…
