• Thank you to everyone at Rapture Games Colchester - 3 August 2026

  This weekend we had the pleasure of showing our demo in Rapture Games festival. We had an absolute blast seeing everyone play, laugh and solve the puzzles. We also got some great feedback from players, so expect some changes to the demo coming soon. One particular suggestion really caught our attention: adding clothing and accessories to the goat.   We're a two-person studio, and one half of that duo is our co-founder Valeria, the artist behind Float Your Goat's hand-drawn world. Every rock, chaotic fish and cloud has been created by her. • We're Showcasing in GDLX 2026! - 25 February 2026

  We are happy to announce Float Your Goat will be in GDLX hosted by Game Dev Local (GDL)! This year event will be at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, England on the 28th of March. There will be 40+ indie games on the show floor plus dedicated a career stage ,a talks stage and networking areas. If you are interested you in attending you can get your tickets hereGDL is an independent community that supports Indie game developers. Along side their annual expo GDLX, they also host game jams, workshops, meet-ups and much more.

• Sneak Peak into Area 2: Tangled Tides - 18 February 2026

  Hello folks! As we delve deeper into the developing the final game, we thought we would share our latest achievement. We have finished setting up the second area of the game named Tangled Tides. This area is inspired by the Caribbean islands, featuring coral reefs, jungles and mangrove forests. This area also introduces new materials; rope and locks.Creating this area has inspired us to look back at Rocky Start and rethink some design choices. So expect a visual revamp to the demo coming soon!

  Patch Notes v0.1.1:Controller support! Now supports menu navigation and gameplay with a controller, including the Steam Deck. Goat jumps off his rafts at the end of levels: Players found it a little confusing whether they completed a level or not, now the goat enthusiastically jumps off his raft to the next island if he manages to stay dry. Minor changes: Adjusted some level lengths, adjusted some level material amounts to allow for more freedom in builds.Stay dry!
