• Steam Deck Support & First Dev Stream during Steam Next Fest - 25 February 2025

  Hello Dice of Arcana players! First of all, thanks to all of you who played our demo during this incredible Steam Next Fest, and thank you for sharing your feedback with us! Today, we have two quick news to share with all of you. First, we want to confirm that the current demo fully supports Steam Deck, so make sure to give it a try if you have one! • Steam Next Fest – Demo Update - 24 February 2025

  Just in time for Steam Next Fest we updated our demo with new content and mechanics! Brand new roll system that lets you roll multiple dice at once. This allows interesting future upgrades to the game and reduces the randomess of the dice results. 6 extra dice 4 new opponents Improved Guidebook readability Quick access to guidebook pages by inspecting dice and miniatures you own Increased the amount of items the shops will sell and improved the selection of items they offer Quite a few bug fixes We hope you enjoy this new version of the demo!   Welcome to the first of many dev updates after the announcement of Dice of Arcana earlier this month! We always wanted to create a small horror title, but we needed to find the right idea, at the right time, to finally do it. Dice Of Arcana is a mix of things we think work very well together. Board/Dice games, with some deck building mechanics in it, and a dreamy/nightmerish theme, where real and surreal mix up, and anxiety kicks in. The trailer tells a lot about how the game was one month ago. But what has happened since then? New Miniatures Mechanic We decided to add extra depth using miniatures as the "focus" of the dice game. We felt that there was a need to deliver a more physical sense of the battle, hence the miniatures that have to be assigned to your dice pool to unleash some effects.
