• Conventions and dev updates - 7 July 2026

  Since our last update in March we've been working hard on finishing the game - focusing on editing the final 14+ hours of footage. We're close... but the earliest release date now would be the end of the year if nothing else causes delays. We genuinely didn't expect it to take this long but there have been a few "acts of god" behind the scenes that have been slowing us down. In particular, we were moved out of home last March whilst it was stripped and rebuilt (including the Doctor Dekker set) due to a burst underfloor water pipe. We will try and channel this experience into a future character (a possessed plumber perhaps!) but for now just know we've been working as hard as we can over the last 16 weeks, whilst living in 9 different houses. • Dekker 2 demo update - 9 March 2026

  Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who has played the demo and/or wishlisted the game so far! We've enjoyed watching playthroughs and reading all the feedback. Right now we're focused on the main build but we're also giving the demo a little update too, including messages to help highlight things that could be overlooked, like being able to skip replays or toggle notes. • Doctor Dekker 2 demo in Steam Next Fest - 22 February 2026

  The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2 demo is now available and will be in the Steam Next Fest starting tomorrow!The demo can be played in around 30 minutes (unless you're trying to find all the video responses - or 'going green', as it used to be called...)There's also a demo feedback form (link in the Steam discussions forum) with 5 questions - including who you'd like to see added to the demo if we're able to expand it before release. • 2025 EoY Update - 29 December 2025

  We've got a quick last minute update before 2025 disappears into the distance - including some extra game footage and news on the Steam demo coming early next year. • Dekker 2 Steam Deck Compatibility - 17 November 2025

  We're currently in the middle of all the things but we've already started testing on the Steam Deck with a native linux build, webm videos and a larger scale UI. There won't be any touchscreen functionality but other than that it should work well. The larger scale UI will also be available on the standard PC build for anyone that prefers the bigger view of things and for playing more comfortably on TV.

• Filming completed for Dekker 2 main suspects - 2 October 2025

  Filming is now complete for the main suspects and editing is underway. As things are shaping up we can start to estimate the final video length - around 12-14 hours, twice as long as the original game. A lot of the extra video is due to many more branching choices in Dekker 2 but it's also a much bigger script in general. That means adding languages might be prohibitively expensive but we're still excited to launch in at least English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.We've still got a couple of secrets to reveal but until then here are some more images from production - thank you for all your support!

• Filming begins for Dekker 2 - 23 August 2025

  Filming began last weekend for Dekker 2 with new patient Ophelia played by Sydney Skye and familiar face Marianna reprised by Aislinn De'Ath. Marianna plays your assistant this time around and pops up in a few places, including the couch, to help you through the game.   We’re happy to announce the full main cast for The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2!The new cast are Paul Baverstock (Not For Broadcast), Harry Bradley (The Mousetrap), Anna Fraser (Murderous Muses), Beth Gatherer (Murderous Muses), and Sydney Skye. They join Aislinn De’Ath (Midnight Caller), who was announced last year and has appeared in all four of our previous games. About the cast and charactersPaul Baverstock, best known to gamers as Not For Broadcast’s Jeremy Donaldson, makes his return to the FMV fold as KILLIAN, a compulsive gambler who tries to code around the bookie’s odds, but instead ends up further in debt and consumed by his visions. Harry Bradley comes fresh from Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap in London’s West End to make his videogame debut as DUNE, a 1930’s styled police detective who’s lost his memories but still seeks to unravel the truth behind the recent murd…
