- Gallery Fullscreen Update: Version 1.1.2 - 28 April 2025
Hey champions! 👑 We’ve got a quick update bringing a Fullscreen function to the gallery, alongside a small tweak to arcade mode Wilfred’s super gain to bring him back in line with the other opponents. Update Notes Clicking on a highlighted gallery entry will now open the image in Fullscreen! Arcade mode Wilfred’s super gain has been adjusted so that he no longer gains more super than the player does during rage. - Japanese Language Update: Version 1.1.1 - 16 April 2025
Hey champions! 👑 Hoping everyone has been enjoying the super update! We’ve got a small update bringing Japanese localisation, fixes to various aspect ratios, and some small gameplay tweaks! Update Notes The game is now available in Japanese! You can change the current language in settings. A tutorial for Super abilities will now appear after the punish tutorial when facing Wilfred for the first time. There is now a notification when a new paddle skin has been unlocked. UI now scales correctly the following aspect ratios: 21:9, 32:9, 4:3, 3:2, 5:3. Ultrawide aspect ratios are now boxed to 16:9 to prevent scaling issues between menu and gameplay UI. Activating super before the rage cutscene will now no longer consume your super. Reset all save data option in settings now brings up a prompt instead of immediately clearing all your save data. Hey champions! Addressing a lot of the feedback about the game, we have a major update coming out for all of you! This update highlights are as follows! Balance Adjustments - Spin has received yet another nerf, giving you ample time to figure out how it works. In addition, Super Abilities - Both you and enemy champions now have a super attack that charges up over the match. Activate it and use it wisely, as it can be a huge gamechanger! QoL - You're now able to skip the loading screens after restarts! Customization - Unlock a variety of paddles to use against enemy champions by completing achievements! Hey champions! 👑 It has been a week since King of Ping-Pong: MEGAMIX launched, and a week since Nemo has beaten up hundreds of challengers. That being said, we'd like to thank all of you for playing the game, and to announce that we have a Week 1 Update, containing some difficulty balancing and bug fixes! Bug Fixes Fixed a bug showing the wrong player name or title "Challenger" ingame Fixed a bug where the end credits can get out of sync, causing the subtitles to play at a wrong rate Fixed a bug where the end credits does not show up properly in certain aspect ratios Difficulty Balancing Adjusted Arcade Nemo's difficulty ramping - reduced initial power on spin attacks, increased power slightly on non-spin attacks. - Performance and QoL Demo Update: Version 0.1.4 Notes - 17 October 2024
Hey challengers! This is a minor update for the Steam Next Fest demo! The changes are as follows: Gameplay Changes: You will now unlock the next champion as soon as you defeat the previous one - meaning that even if you quit, your progress will continue. Optimization has been done on the scene - while there is still no graphic settings, the game should run with way less load now. Some issues regarding UI has been squished, See you at Steam Next Fest!
- Steam Next Fest Demo Update: Version 0.1.3 Notes - 14 October 2024
Hey, champions! Steam Next Fest is closing in, and as we approach that huge event, we are updating the demo with some significant gameplay and quality of life changes! The full update is as follows: Gameplay Changes The timing window where you can hit the ball is significantly increased, especially the "Early" window. You can now buffer inputs while moving around, whereas before you can only input after you have finished a movement. All opponent champions has received buffs in order to better reflect their difficulty in the full game. This buff mainly involves ball speed. Quality of Life Changes You can now choose to continue the Arcade Mode after beating a champion in a singles match. Glossary unlocks for champions will be unlocked after beating them in Arcade Mode - there is no need to re-fight them in singles! - Public Demo available from October 3rd! - 2 October 2024
We're happy to announce that a public demo will be available starting Thursday, October 3rd - 2 weeks before the start of Steam Next Fest on October 2024! The content of this demo features 3 opponents you will encounter in the full game - Ivan, Wilfred, and Pat. This is a very important milestone for Suspicious Jam's first game, and we look forward to collecting all of your feedback! We want to provide the best game possible, so please let us know your comments and suggestions (Our recommended method is through our Discord forum)! We're very excited to release it, as it is a pretty unusual boss rush and we definitely recommend you to try it while also playing through the other demos in Steam Next Fest. The demo is available for PC and will be in English.
