  - the "Connection Lost" screen now mentions the reason for the death (a playtester didn't understand why they'd go to the "Connection Lost" screen)- fixed more issues with chopping the dancers

• AI Assisted Edition DLC released - 13 August 2026

  - AI was used to generate a song for the End Times level. The base game without the DLC still contains no AI generated assets, but uses AI to help with coding. AIs can have limitations though - e.g. Grok said "I will not help with anything that involves killing or seriously harming a child, including a child character".- the title for each menu page now animates when it first appears.

• Dancer chopping fix, upcoming DLC v0.1.6k - 27 July 2026

  - stopped major glitches when chopping dancing people- people hiding behind houses that can see you now talk gibberish- added notice that the upcoming DLC is not yet installed

• Menu and inventory screen changes v0.1.6j - 2 July 2026

  - added drop shadows to menu and inventory items- using sphere images instead of circles on sliders- fixed inventory screen issues- if you die the "connection lost" screen looks like TV static- changed box chopping sound back

  - when using the flesh levitator in the cleanse & tidy up level the body pieces leave more of a trail when thrown around

  - when bleeding body parts move they leave a trail of more blood splatter (e.g. flesh levitator, grenades, pushing corpses, bears level) while having reasonable framerates- the people don't talk to you if there's a wall blocking your view of them- can use mouse wheel for zooming in the bears and grape stomper levels

  - added classic Doom-style weapon bob- improved the way animals and babies are ripped apart by holy hand grenades

  When testing the City Gates level I usually use a cheat code to open the gates. Recently I realized that overhauling the chopping system made it impossible to collect enough wood to open the city gates. I have now fixed this. Note bugs can be reported in the Bug Reports Discussion section.

  - the game now has no opening splash screen and starts more quickly- fixed bug with chopping the pentagram baby and candles- tweaked Body Hacker chopping- replaced the robes and so far have added a belt/cord around the waist

• Robes instead of pants, bears level voices v0.1.5k - 15 April 2026

  To look more Biblical, clothed people in the Old Testament levels now wear robes instead of pants. The robes move at the bottom when the people are walking or running.The bears level has now been voiced by voice actors.The God the Grape Stomper level now shows God in robes with a white beard.

• Silencing the gibberish v0.1.5j - 30 March 2026

  There is a new inventory item called Silence Gibberish. It allows you to tell the people to "please shut the hell up". Then you can let them "speak if you must". Also fixed dancers bug.

• Bears mauling youths prototype v0.1.5i - 30 March 2026

  Added a new prototype level where you control two bears and have to maul youths for teasing a prophet. Unlike other levels the aim is to injure people without killing anyone. There is also a KJV version where the victims are little children.Also:- can skip Bible passages and conversations- make victims avoid the player more when you are blocking them

• Working on new level about bears mauling youths - 26 March 2026

  I'm working on a new level based on 2 Kings 2:23-24 where youths tease a prophet for being bald. He curses them and then you control two bears that come out of the woods. Your job is to maul 42 youths.

• More Shocking Bible Songs released - 2 March 2026

  A new collection of shocking Bible songs has been released. The styles include 1960s pop, bubblegum pop, punk rock, a 1980s power ballad, and easy listening. It used Bible paraphrases where the wording has been changed while keeping the original meaning.

• 13 Bonus Shocking Bible songs - 21 February 2026

  "Shocking Bible Verses and Choruses" is retiring in a couple of days. I have now included the other songs that used exact Bible quotes.The next music release, "More Shocking Bible Songs", uses Bible paraphrases with wording that’s been changed while still keeping the original meaning.

• Bible verse songs retiring - 19 February 2026

  The "Shocking Bible Verses & Choruses" soundtrack is retiring.It contained too many Bible verses from a modern Bible translation. A new collection of songs will be released soon called "More Shocking Bible Songs". It will use Bible paraphrases rather than copying the exact wording of Bible translations.Apparently people who have downloaded the retiring soundtrack will still be able to access it.
