Alongside the cosmetic updates, the new season implements several quality-of-life improvements, including improved game balancing, updated matchmaking and rank progression.

- Security Log #1 - The Trapper & Traps - 23 July 2025
Hello everyone, Welcome to our first of many dev updates! For this first one, we'll delve into the Trapper! Shockingly, the Trapper is all about traps. Homing rockets, bombs, shock traps, hammer fists, water guns etc. Any previously docile piece of furniture can become something of nightmares. Yes, that is a toilet with eyes being propelled by a rocket. Prior to the Bandits arriving, the Trapper has a few minutes to booby trap the house to make sure the Bandits aren't successful in looting the house. In each map, there are towers placed around the environment. The Trapper can enter these to place traps in the furniture-they're also able to travel between each tower quickly. Traps are automatically activated when Bandits are near the trap or interact with it. As the Trapper, you are able to enter that piece of furniture and personally drive it around and activate the trap at your leisure…

Welcome Trappers and Bandits to the very best home security system training program! Bandit Trap is a wacky, physics driven 3v1 multiplayer game where you ransack a house for loot or defend it! As the Bandits, players must work together to search the house for gems that are hidden within furniture- all while trying to avoid the deadly traps set up by the Trapper. The match ends once the Trapper inflicts enough damage to the Bandits or the Bandits find all the gems. Rounds usually last around 10 minutes! Let's take a quick peek at how that works.TrapperAt the beginning of each match is a 2 min prep period where the Trapper prepares the house for the soon to be coming Bandits. This is the time where the Trapper can booby trap the home. Rigging furniture with tools of destruction like bombs or flamethrowers.
