This update includes some bug fixes and visual improvements, but more importantly represents the final build for this free version as we're transitioning to a paid version. To view the paid version, search for Campgrounds Adventures: The Big Oopsie on Steam. If you have made purchases in this free version of the game, you will be see a CD Key the next time you launch the game. Use that CD Key to get the paid game for free.
- Unfolding the Campgrounds Adventures Saga: Tom’s Adventure and New Friends - 18 October 2024
By this time, Addie has been working hard developing campgrounds for years and needs to take a vacation. 🏕️ She turns to her good friend Tom, the archaeologist, to take over in her absence. While teaching Tom the ropes, he and Addie find a strange mechanical construction being guarded by a parrot. 🦜 As Addie and Tom debate the purpose of the machine, the bird squawks, “Keeeeep it!” 🗣️ Addie, deciding “what's one more mystery unsolved?”, sets off on her vacation. ✈️ Tom, along with his new bird companion, begins building more campsites. Jumping forward several years, Addie is now being asked for help by a bumbling real estate agent named Bart 🏡. Bart has gotten himself into a financial bind 💸 and believes that developing campgrounds is his only solution 🏕️, and naturally, who better to help than former Campground Developer of the Year winner: Addie 🏆. It does not take long to realize that Bart is both extremely clumsy and even more unlucky. He can hardly swing a hammer without getting himself hurt. Eventually, Addie manages to drag Bart out of the red and set him free. No doubt to chase more financial misfortune in the future 🌀. In our next entry, Addie receives a blast from the past. We first met our original protagonist, Addie, when she worked for “The Boss”. The Boss runs a lucrative campground business, but where Addie strives to work harmoniously with nature and leave no trace, The Boss prefers to be as destructive and harmful as possible. A man who’s sole focus is power and money. Addie, realizing she can’t be a part of this horrible organization, sets off on her own. Her path was filled with adversity, but in the end she beat The Boss and won “Campground Developer of the Year”. This small victory left The Boss feeling humiliated, and that is not something he can forgive. The Story then follows Addie’s exploration through forgotten lands as she deciphers an ancient map she found at the end of the previous game.
