- Rewired - 14 August 2026
Today's update is all about how the game feels online. Welcome to B1235.We've reworked how objects travel across the network, so input feels tighter, connections hold up better when they get messy, and it all uses less bandwidth. There's a new Network Buffering setting to tune it to your connection, plus much smoother replays.NetworkingNetwork smoothing for every client with no additional latency.Improved handling of unstable connections (network jitter, packet loss, packet reordering).50% reduction in network bandwidth between the server and clients.10ms reduction in perceived input latency.Network BufferingA new in-game setting with four options that trade input latency against simulation accuracy:PREDICTIVE - Least input latency, least accurate. -15ms input latency; realistically only for ideal conditions (1Gbps ethernet, minimal jitter).RESPONSIVE (default) - Minimal input latency,…
- Goal Celebrations, Visual Overhaul, Performance and QOL - 10 July 2026

On top of that there's a mountain of HUD, menu, server and backend improvements. Here's the full changelog: GameplayGoalie crease protection - the crease is now a protected zone. Body-to-body collisions inside it are filtered, and an intruding player shows as a transparent ghost. (Can be disabled per-server in public_game_mode_config.json.)Casual votekicks are now decided by a whole-lobby majority.Removed votekick from competitive mode due to abuse. I understand this is not a perfect solution; further iterations/solutions will come in the future. The game clock now runs through 0:00 before a…
