• Zooika 1.1.6 - Minor bug fixes and cake! - 19 May 2026

  This week is the anniversary of the release of Zooika! We'd like to thank everyone that's played over this past year, and for the feedback that has really helped to improve the game. Thanks for all the reviews, they really help, and if you haven't had a chance yet, please leave a review!Here's the fixes and additions in this patch:Fixed display issue in high score listingsFixed retrieved high scores sometimes being offset incorrectlyFixed scoring bug when merging the largest animalAdded birthday cake to main menu for release anniversary *Changed highlight colour for Twitch help messages, improving clarity** The cake is not a lie, but only appears on the 23rd May, up until the end of May.

  With this update we've rewritten the Twitch connection code to be more reliable, and we've fixed several bugs too.Here's a breakdown of the main fixes and changes:Redesigned the snowball watermelon, the old design was a little confusing to people (It's not an egg! :) )Reworked the Twitch connection code, and added self monitoring. The initial connection process should be smoother, and the game should attempt to re-connect when it detects problems. • Zooika V1.1.2 Release - 9 November 2025

  We've just released another update, this time adding language localisation to the game! We're supporting eleven languages in this initial update. These languages are English, Welsh, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Ukrainian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. We've also fixed a few small bugs in this release too!If you spot any mistakes in the localisation, please let us know by posting in the community hub

• V1.1.1 Minor update - 22 October 2025

  We have a small patch with a few fixes for minor bugs, some additional pumpkins and Twitch leader boards!Added Twitch leader boards to the high scores section. Your Chat Vs Streamer games are stored in leader boards, so you can challenge other streamers to get to the top!Your high score in the leader boards is now highlighted so you can easily spot where you are.Disabled the 'Connect' button in Twitch Plays settings when the game is attempting to connect.Removed the option to change the theme when in game. Theme changes can only occur from the main menu.Switched back to Vulkan renderer to avoid game being flipped vertically in OBS when game capture was used. Added more pumpkins in game during Halloween!Cleaned up some texts.

  We've got a big update for you this time. We have new graphics, new theming and Twitch integrations!ThemingZooika has had a bit of a facelift, both with it's capsule art recently, and now the in game graphics too. The new graphics include different seasonal themes, the game will either automatically choose a theme based on the date, or you can choose your favourite theme and stick with that all year round!Twitch IntegrationWe've been testing a new Twitch integration feature over the last few months and we're now making that available to everyone.   We're currently testing out Twitch integration features on the beta branch. It's an open beta and streamers are encouraged to give it a go!To access the beta version of Zooika you just need to switch to the beta branch of the game. • Update notes for Zooika 1.0.2 - 1 June 2025

  Thanks to all that have been playing the game! It's great to see people enjoying Zooika! There's been a few, mostly minor issues spotted during its first week of release, and I've tried to address most of them with this patch. Fixed 'explosive force' during merge spawn to stop it from affecting falling animals Mouse pointer no longer reactivates when switching to mouse input whilst within the play area. Fixed target assist setting being ignored, unless it was toggled off and on. Fixed issue where initial selection for custom game was incorrect. Fixed issue where initial selection for leader board display was incorrect. Tried to improve shader caching for initial play through smoothness. Fixed display issue on 'roundish' play area, lid was offset to the left. Fixed display issue where animals stayed in 'blinked' state when blinking was turned off.
