• Chancellors Office Puzzle User experience improvements. - 10 November 2025

  This patch addresses some issues players were experiencing with the first puzzle in the chancellors office. We have adjusted the instructions, added visual hints and interactions with the objects in this puzzle to make completing it more intuitive.

• Localisation - 4 November 2025

  Firstly we'd like to give a big thank you to everyone that has played Black Annis so far. With our latest update we have completed localisation. The Interface and subtitles are now available in the following languages: English Portuguese (Brazil) Polish Japanese Simplified Chinese Spanish Korean Italian French German Norwegian Scots Gaelic Welsh Along with localisation we have also added a number of quality of life improvements and bug fixes as well as little surprise in the credits for players that complete the game.   We are very sorry for anyone that couldn't access Black Annis for the last few minutes and received an error. This was simply due to an update being uploaded to with an incorrectly named folder. We will push the full update again in a moment

  Hi everyone, We have patched most of the major issues found by our players, see a list of full patch notes below: Autosaves now work across all save points Fixed camera glitch in final cutscene Added music to the vent chase Increased the duration of the quick time event Reduced/improved LOD popping Removing the pallet from the doorway is now much more versatile Lift buttons now have a different HUD element Phone screen now stays cracked after loads Adjusted player & Reggie speed Fixed an issue where player could soft-lock themselves in chancellors office We hope this fixes some of the issues our players have been experiencing and we are looking forward to Steam Scream next week.
