- Version 1.0 Patch 2 - 5 April 2025
Hi everyone, so we've had the best of both extremes since launch which can be wonderful yet daunting. It's just so wonderful to have this level of support with people praising the game and making their own suggestions to how it could be even better! Yet on the other end we see harsh criticism, the kind that makes you wince as you read/watch on. However I strongly believe that both are coming from a place of passion, therefore ignoring the 'haters' only serves to harm a game's development and purely listening to the supporters only gives half the story. So to all the people who have spoke loudly on the positives and also to those who have shone a light on the negatives, I am very grateful to you both. Anyway, here's the patch: Bugs Bottles will no longer get stuck to employees hands and get stored in wrong places Pictures displayed wrong tooltips Removed softlock for using the cash regis…
- Some small fixes - 2 April 2025
Hi everyone, Thankyou for the fantastic reception, here are a few things we were able to fix immediately. Fixes Flaked paint is no longer duplicated on the tablet Moved Pub chat to be under ambient sound setting instead of general SFX Moved the rep +- to be further away from the level to prevent overlapping Increased customer hitbox so you no longer have to hug them Fixed Gamepad loss of control when using tablets and pause menu Tweak Cheats now marks your save so you can't claim achievements. Notes This should not affect your save, but let us know if bugs start occuring that weren't there before We're trying to track down a bug where the staff get stuck after customers order a shot, please join our Discord and let us know if this is affecting you too.
- Pub Sim 1.0 Release - 31 March 2025
Well folks, this is it. Our exit from Early Access and into version 1.0. We call it this because we want to convey that this isn't the end, that more updates and content will come of which I'll detail below. But without further ado, here's what the update brings: Features The Imperium, a huge property that used to be a nightclub before 'the incident', no longer will you be scratching for space in the Hound and Hare, this marks a significant milestone in our ability to make purchasable properties and future versions will now be easier for us to make. Background Sim, a huge effort in optimization. When you leave a property, the game will now covert all objects into pure mathematical calculations. This means you can now own as many properties as we can deliver with no impact to performance. Inverted bar corners, a long requested piece of furniture which will allow you to snake your bar in…
- Small bugfixes - 21 January 2025
Hi folks, just a small patch to fix up some minor issues This shouldn't affect save games but of course if you are facing excessive issues then a corrupted save will usually be the reason. Bugs fixed Rainstorms were far too common Coins had temporary collision and pushed the player back Immovable objects could be selected which softlocked the player Text overlapped the in-game PC Weather sounds were not tethered to the audio sliders Some option sliders were not tracking the mouse very well
- Patch 11 - 17 January 2025
Hi again everyone, I come bearing news (other than the update) and I'm excited to get stuck in. The Future Right now we're working towards a huge feature, the ability to purchase another property on the map and own two Pubs at the same time. I believe this will take another couple of months to get it perfect but once this is done I will consider the game out of Early Access. What does this mean for the game? Not much in a development sense, we'll keep digging through the most suggested features and work on the next big thing, the only reason we're calling this 'complete' is because this feature (along with the others we've implemented) pretty much encompasses the vision of what we thought this game should be. The Present This update comes with something else which, to my surprise, has been suggested by the existing community for some time. The game is too cheap, and while I wanted to ke…
- Crash Fix - 28 December 2024
Hi everyone and apologies for taking so long to fix this one, it was a real pain to find and especially over Christmas. However, with fingers crossed, we believe we got it. We've included a bunch of optimizations as well which should reduce the filesize by roughly 2gbs. Ultimately it was an issue to do with an unused save file not updating properly and causing a crash as soon as the map was loaded. Since we load the map upon game start it caused an immediate error. If of course you're still crashing or find other issues then please let me know and we'll be right on it.

- Patch 5 - 29 August 2024
Patch 5 This has been our longest patch in the making, we had to be sure it met better standards than our last 4. Our continuous question has been: Is this better than the last version? And with each one that we release, that standard becomes higher and higher. To that end, here's the notes: Cleaner 4 no longer requires 2,500 rep to unlock Holding RMB will remove items continuously instead of a burst of 4 Shelves will no longer claim an item is there when it isn't Storage will now give accurate numbers to fridge capacity Customers are no longer sliding like an ice rink Painting a wall made it so you couldn't repaint specifically the last spot, this is fixed now Customer clothes and limbs no longer desync at long distance Money is collected after barkeeper bins an empty wine bottle Sound settings no longer reset back to 0 Card should no longer stick to your hand Customers should no longe…
- Patch 4 - 22 August 2024
Patch 4 So I'd like to first say that the two of us working this project know that this patch took a little longer to come out, this is marking our steps to eventually post: a decent update every week, then updates with content every 2 weeks and work our way through early access having all major/minor bugs sorted and then we can focus on the really cool stuff that the community has been suggesting. BUT, without further ado, here's Patch 4's notes: Loan fixed, was reducing despite interest rate and daily bills being the same amount Markup no longer resets to 100% after fresh load Taps are totally definitely fixed now and liquid won't come out the wrong one Boxes used to break if you clipped two together Stock worker will no longer bin full kegs Stock workers should no longer steal your items Stock worker will no switch out useless kegs (has under 500ml left) Oak cash register now accepts…
