• When Walls Finally Sound Like Walls – Environmental Audio Overhaul - 22 August 2026

  Over the past days, we have been working on one of those systems that is rarely the first thing players notice – but makes an enormous difference to how believable a game world feels:environmental audio.Until now, sound sources in Dangerous Connections could sometimes be heard too clearly through walls, floors or even from several rooms away. A machine running behind a concrete wall could still feel as if it was standing almost next to the player.For Level 1, we have now completely reworked this behaviour. • Bringing the Soviet 4x4 to Life - 7 August 2026

  Over the past weeks, we have been working intensively on one of the most detailed vehicle systems currently in Dangerous Connections: a rugged Soviet 4x4.At first glance, it may look like a relatively small addition. A vehicle that can be entered, started and driven through the environment.In practice, however, we quickly realised that simply making the vehicle move would not be enough.We wanted it to feel heavy, old, mechanical and slightly unpredictable. We wanted the player to hear and feel the difference between sitting inside the cabin and standing next to the vehicle. • Level 1 Visual Overhaul – Before & After - 21 July 2026

  Over the past weeks, we have been working intensively on improving the performance of Dangerous Connections, with stable 60 FPS as one of our main targets.At the same time, we decided not to leave the older levels visually behind. Level 1 has therefore received a substantial visual overhaul, bringing it much closer to the quality and atmosphere we want for the final game.This short comparison shows some of the most visible changes made to Level 1.
