• Post Next Fest Update - 3 March 2026

  HiNext Fest is over so I've patched the game to address some feedback I've gotten from new players.Some small changes to make the game experience a bit smoother:A TAB menu that lets you see your and the enemies' stats while held.The TAB menu already existed actually but it looks nicer now and the game actually tells you it exists. I'll have to make actual icons for KB/M and controller later.A new fullscreen "goblin is taking damage" effect that doesn't make the game quite as dark and uglyA bunch of new hints as to how SPD works.I noticed a lot of people don't understand how SPD works as a stat. It is used to take your turn more quickly. Essentially every fraction of a second your SPD is added to a counter and once it hits 100, it's your turn.This means that at 0 SPD, you will never take a turn. I've gotten some bug reports from people confused as to why their goblin wasn't taking turns…

• Demo updated for Next Fest - 22 February 2026

  HiI Won't Let You Level Up In My Goblin Town will be in Steam Next Fest from the 24th. For the influx of new players I've updated the demo to have a more legible font, I've added a new campfire that has some cool interactions which lead to new items with new effects.Most importantly, I've added achievements which hopefully make some fights more challenging and hint at different ways to play the game. There's a lot of options that you might not expect at first.More sound effects are now actually affected by the SFX volume slider. I think I got them all this time.Please hit me up with any feedback you have. Especially regarding the font.Bor
