I'm putting the finishing touches on adding online multiplayer to Hidden in Plain Sight. It's probably the most requested feature since the game came out over a decade ago, and I've always been extremely resistant it.Why the resistance? Because I feel the game is just a better experience when played in person. It's like comparing a Facetime call to real face-to-face interaction. There is something magical about being in the same room with friends and family and laughing with each other that just doesn't exactly come through online. I hope you play it, and I would absolutely LOVE to see some 8 player videos. I can only imagine the chaos at the end of an eight-player Death Race match!Some caveats:This is only for Steam (Windows/Mac/Linux) versions of the game. Xbox and Switch remain 4 player.Controllers are still required for each player.I am a solo dev, and it's nearly impossible for me to test every configuration and brand of controllers. Bad Golf is coming to Steam on 9/30/2025A long, long time ago I made a game called Bad Golf for the Xbox 360 Indie Games platform. On the surface, it looks like a pretty simple 2D golf game, but there are some special modes and features that make it a pretty fun game to play with friends. My favorite is a "Beat The Developer" mode where you try to see if you are better than me at my own game!Play solo or with friends (online or local). Play to see who gets the lowest score in a strategic face-off, or who can complete the hole the fastest in a frantic golf race.I hope you add it to your wishlist and give it a try!

Hi friends. I've received so many nice comments about this game over the years, and I just wanted to say thank you. It's so personally rewarding for me to hear stories of friends and families bonding together and having fun, and I'm so honored and thankful that I could be a small part of that. I grew up in the pre-internet era playing Goldeneye and Mario Kart and old DOS games shoulder to shoulder with my friends, and I know how local-multiplayer just somehow feels better. If you haven't already, would you please consider taking a minute and writing a brief review of the game? I'm very close to the 500 review mark which is a considerable milestone in terms of Steam visibility. I would never ask you to lie or give a fake review. Oh, the possibilities. Late night TowerFall tournaments, no longer restricted to the too-rare occasions when I’m in the same room as my internet friends. I might get to finish Overcooked 2 , this time with a pal who finds efficient cooking more entertaining than winding me up by pretending to mistake fire extinguishers for lettuces. Multiple developers have revealed Valve’s plans for “Remote Play Together”, which will bring automatic online support for local multiplayer games. It’s one more step towards freeing us from the tyranny of geography, with an open beta due for October 21st. Yeah, you could already do this using third-party tools. But sometimes convenience opens up possibilities by itself. (more…)
- Have you played Hidden In Plain Sight? - 20 June 2019
Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time. People are screaming at either side of me. “HE’S THAT ONE AT THE FRONT! SHOOT HIM!” They’re talking about me. I’m staying perfectly still, as though my friend’s vision is based on movement, like a T-Rex. The shot rings out, and all the screaming stops. The last bullet has been fired – not into me, but into an innocent NPC who happened to be looking suspicious at the front of the pack. I’m now free to abandon my statue act and sprint towards the finish line. A great big grin crosses my face at the knowledge that nothing can stop me now. (more…)

I never like the "Touch all the Five Statues" win condition on Ninja Party. The game always ended suddenly with a lot of question marks. I have modified the rules of Ninja Party. The original Ninja Party has been renamed "Ninja Party Classic". Let me know what you think!

Give it a shot and let me know how it goes. It might be totally dumb, but at least it was free, right? I think it has the potential for a few laughs.
