• An end of year update - 24 December 2025

  Hi everyone,we thought the end of the year is a good time to give you an update on what we've been working on and what to expect for the beginning of next year.If you’re a dev or know a bit about game dev, you’ve probably heard of the "scope creep": that moment when you keep adding "cool" ideas until the project risks collapsing under its own weight. Well… we fell right into that trap this month.Over the last few months, we gathered tons of ideas, feedback, and new concepts and at some point, we lost focus. Thankfully, we caught it early enough. We took a step back, made some hard cuts, and refocused on the very core of what Freedome Farmers is meant to be.Which is: a fun, stupid, over the top co-op game to enjoy with friends. Right now, we’re reworking the defense and weapon upgrade systems to make them more fun, more stupid, and also game breaking. Early tests have had us laughing so…

• Our august playtest is now over - 1 September 2025

  Our playtest, which ran for most of august, is now over. Thank you so very much to everyone who tried our game, streamed it, and found new bugs features.A few stats for the nerds :Around 200 people signed up for the playtest70 unique players played the gamethe median play time was around 50 minutesit got streamed on twitch by 2 streamers (ulysses and roniini)we also got our first gameplay video on youtubeAll in all we're super pumped by all the feedback we have gotten during this months and we can't wait to integrate some of it into the game and do another round of playtesting.If you'd like to keep in touch, suggest changes or tell us about some new features you found, please join our discord.
