Short description
Beaux-Arts is a surreal horror game about being held prisoner by the residents of a countryside estate. Try to convince the family and staff to let you out alive. But remember: This place does not care about you.
About this game
Finding yourself lost on an unfamiliar road, you decide to ask for directions at a nearby estate. You should have known that the splendor of this place was not meant for the likes of you. Soon enough, you'll understand the consequences for this vulgar intrusion. Beaux-Arts is a horror tragicomedy about cruelty, suffering, and beauty. EXPLORE Wander the estate, examine its refined features, and learn about its noble history. You'll have time to contemplate and discuss the magnificence of your surroundings, if you so wish. SPEAK Talk to the family and staff of the estate. Not everyone here wants to hurt you, and perhaps they can even help you leave this place. Then again, they might also have their own reasons to be reticent in offering aid... WAIT Adapt to the rhythms, movements and lulls of life in the manor. The residents will move about the grounds as they please, but do not assume that you can do the same. As prisoner of the household, freedom of movement is a privilege that must be earned and can be revoked.
