Jack of Clubs is a 2D golf game where hitting the ball is only half the battle! You play as Jack, a pilot stranded on a recently abandoned golf utopia. As you traverse the course in pursuit of your ball, you'll explore the resort, fight off robots, uncover secrets, and help the locals. Jump and climb your way through two huge nine-hole maps in this hybrid of golf and action-adventure. The course is full of secrets to discover and challenges to complete in exchange for consumable items that improve your golf game. The main story takes roughly four hours to complete, but the fun doesn't end there! Add hours of gameplay by completing more than 140 "safaris". Want to hit the ball from from tee #3 into hole #7? Do it! Original soundtrack by DJ Beatza Hut, Roderic Russell, and Nick Powell. Play alongside your Steam friends! In online multiplayer , a "ghost" of each player and their ball appears after every stroke. When a player completes a hole, other players get a notification. Up to 32 players.* Three game modes : Classic mode is the original Jack of Clubs experience. You take no damage, but robots can hit you and prevent you from golfing. Friendly mode pacifies the robots for those who want a pure golf experience. Hard mode adds a three-heart life meter, and a stroke is added to your score if it gets to zero. Full controller and mouse and keyboard support with rebindable inputs. Lots of achievements. Family friendly! *In theory. I don't have enough friends to test a full 32-player lobby.
