• What’s Next: an updated demo - 18 April 2026

  We know it’s been a few weeks since our last update, thank you for your patience!We’re currently working on a new version of the demo featuring an updated in-run and meta progression system, many more relics, new narrative events, additional abilities, and improved balance between offensive and defensive options. This new demo will be available before the end of May.We’ll also try to share some new footage with you soon.This update will bring a more complete experience and better reflect the core vision of Odds Chronicles.   Following player feedback, we’ve made several improvements and quality-of-life additions to the demo.New MusicWe’ve updated the world map music and added a new main menu theme.Steam Deck SupportThe demo now supports Steam Deck at 60 FPS, and can be played using: Gamepad & Touch screen.Quality of Life ImprovementsA few usability improvements have been added, including:Space bar shortcut: For new players, holding Space now ends your turn by default (long press) to help avoid accidental inputs. (Previously Enter ended the turn instantly. The shortcut can still be remapped.)Bug FixesSeveral bugs have been fixed to improve the overall stability of the demo.Streamer ModeFor content creators, a Streamer Mode is now available in the settings.This option disables the music to avoid potential copyright issues, making it easier for streamers to monetize their content.
