• Fixed a very slow memory leak - 3 August 2024

  Today I found out the game had a memory leak that while small, it aggregated over time each time you click the avocado. This release is primarily to patch that. But here are some other additions as a consolation prize. :) - A clicks per second counter has been added, you can hide it in the options menu if you don't like it. - changed the counter font. - made title in Guacamole Labs more readable. - All of your color choices in the options menu are now saved upon closing. - Your currently selected avocado is saved upon closing as well. - You can now change the counter font color in the options menu. I have been working on a new big feature that will be ready in the next couple of days. Discovering the memory made it pretty urgent for me to push out this update in the short term though.

• Fixed an item name bug - 2 August 2024

  I noticed that items were being generated on the market yesterday that have names prefixed with the word "Unique". Avocados with this naming bug can no longer be generated.

• Small Fix - 30 July 2024

  I have fixed a bug that was causing menus to not open up again after being closed from clicking the avocado or background.

• Adding Guacamole Labs! - 28 July 2024

  It's time for another update, this time focusing on getting UI in for future features. Added Guacamole Labs. This is a place where you can view and swap your skins out that looks better than the drop down in the options menu. The labs will be a platform for me to build more features, such as combining avocados into new exciting avocados! Changed default background color to something less harsh. Fixed wrong taskbar name (involved a registry edit so I am hoping it applies to everyone). Fixed avocado being in wrong position when resizing the window. Fixed "Diamonds are Inedible" avocado art Fixed buttons at top popping in and out at weird times. Clicking on the avocado or background now closes all open menus. Added 3 new avocados to drop pool! • Updating drop pools! - 20 July 2024

  Hello again everyone, It's time for another update! I am really trying to nail down the drop system with this update, Instead of having 2 tiers of drop with common every 3 hours and rare every 18 hours, we are removing the 18 hour drop pool and now it will just be a consistent drop every 3 hours (You must click to trigger the drop after 3 hours has passed, every 3 hours). Each time a drop occurs now, it has a chance of being any rarity. The new rarity tiers and their drop rates are as follows: Common- 58% Uncommon - 34% Rare - 6% Ultra Rare - 2% Epic - 0.00000025% Legendary - 0.0000000357% I have also added a button to reset the click counter. I am thinking of implementing a feature where you can "prestige" by resetting the counter after you get to 1,000,000, which would force an avocado to drop or something like that.   Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the first couple of days of the games release! I have been collecting some feedback and am starting to implement changes in order of importance. This is the first patch to deal with some of the more critical issues I see with the game: Added in-game drop notification when a drop happens. It shows a picture and info about the avocado that dropped and has a button to take you to the marketplace to sell it if you like! Added an in-game Discord button to take you directly to the community server. Fixed an error with the "Basic Avocado 3D" loading the wrong skin into the game. The taskbar right click menu is bugged and reading the wrong title. This is turning out to be a tough bug to fix in this engine atm so I will have to do some digging for a fix. • Avocado Roadmap - 13 July 2024

  Hello Everybody! Hope you are all having a great day! I want to outline my thoughts and ideas for the potential future of the game to give the player base some idea of what they can expect to change and what will stay the same. Planned Features: Steam Workshop integration for avocado art submissions. This should help streamline the community voting process, as well as allow the artists who made them to get paid when they sell on the marketplace. We will still be allowing and voting on submissions through Discord as well, as not to exclude people who don't know how to use the workshop. Audio and BGM with mute toggle. Resolution scaling slider for fine-grain control over the window resolution. Purchasable background art that can be applied in the options menu.
