There were several things we wanted to add to the game but didn't get around to before release that we've worked on afterwards, as well as some bug fixes that came up once more people got a hold of the game.This 1.1 version includes:a new side story in the Extras screen (unlockable after completing at least 1 ending)a new CG on Cecil's routevisual consistency updatesminor line tweaksminor bug fixesThe artbook was also updated to include this new CG!FAQThe game won't launch after the update!Steam sometimes installs updates incorrectly, resulting in the game being unplayable. - Version 1.03 - Bug Fixes - 4 May 2026
We have a few bug fixes now live that will affect a handful of players, most notably if you:go to Rowan's manor on Day 5are presented with a choice at dinner on Day 5There were a couple of bugs present at these scenes which made it harder to get on certain routes depending on how you played the game prior. These bugs have now been fixed, but you may have to restart the save file and skip to these sections to get the correct routes you are pursuing.* If you are running into issues launching the game, please check that your graphics card hasn't updated recently. There are issues with updated OpenGL graphics cards and the Ren'Py engine. To fix this issue if you encounter it, please try reverting your latest graphics card update.Thank you everyone who has played so far!

We're only 5 days until the full game release!We're super close to release and tidying up things in the full game. Because of this, we were able to do one last demo update! CWES: Amaranthine Moon will release on April 29th!The full release of our Victorian vampire otome game will be very soon, just a month away! We're excited to share the full game with you all and bring you back into Lucie's world. The release of CWES:AM will be very close to our Steam festival Otome Games Celebration, which will be returning this year from May 4-11. - February Updates – Valentines & Rowan’s Route - 24 February 2026
Hi everyone! February has come and gone, and with it several holidays (some still on going). One holiday we passed was none other than Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, we drew the boys with flowers representing each of them.And you can watch the timelapse for all 3 of them on our YouTube.In February we worked a lot more on Cecil’s route, but also worked on Rowan’s route! We have a list of updates for Crimson Waves, so let’s get started.First off, if you backed the Kickstarter then you should have received an email about the Pledge Manager, which is essentially Kickstarter’s version of Backerkit, where you’re able to finalize your backer rewards as well as pay for shipping and taxes. Depending on where you live and what you bought, you may have to pay taxes (including for digital rewards). - August Updates – Day 4 Scripting - 1 September 2025
Happy September, everyone! August saw a lot of work being done across multiple projects like I talked about in our last devlog, but today we’re looking at Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon specifically.August was the end of our successful Kickstarter. With the turbulence of shipping things right now, as I’m located in the US, we’re holding off on sending out backer surveys to finalize backer info (and shipping costs) for now. We’re aiming to release the game in December, so hopefully by the end of October we’ll be able to finalize the backer details. June presented a lot of side tangents such as Asphodelium releasing on Steam and my own work-vacation at OffKai Expo (where I got to meet people who played the Crimson Waves demo!)....But it also saw some progress on the main game. - April Updates – New Crimson Waves Character Art - 15 April 2025
It’s time for our monthly updates for Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon! This month we focused on sprite artwork and bringing it together in engine. Our sprite artist Dule has finished the main character sprites, namely for Nemo and Ambrose! Nemo (right) is Lucie’s older brother while Ambrose (left) is his partner. Lucie lives with both of them at Ambrose’s home. There will be several more characters we’ve yet to introduce in the story, but these 6 (Lucie, Cecil, Elm, Rowan, Nemo, Ambrose) are our main cast.
