• Major graphical improvement [MODERNISED] - 19 October 2024

  NEW MAJOR GRAPHICAL UPDATE Updated graphics within majorly, with new UI's, different layouts, new main menu screen, etc with different colour schemes. Makes the game feel a lot more fresh, modern, and playable with a black and gold aesthetic. More graphical updates to come like image updates for events, more profile pictures, etc. WHATS TO COME? Coming soon will be brand new updates to how FootCareer is presented on Steam, with brand new images, text, etc and making the game look much better and well designed. Thank you!

  NEW GRAPHICAL UPDATE Soon, I am going to be releasing new UI, improved images, and more cleaner menus. This will make the game look much more modern, smooth, and better as a whole. We are moving the game away from a purple colour scheme to a more greyish-black colour scheme, with more updated images that are easier to identify. I am excited to release this graphical update, and I hope you are too, Thanks!

When playing FootCareer ULT, take a screenshot of your score at the end of your career, and submit it to the on topic channel in the FootCareer discord! At the end of October, I will find the best score and put it on a dedicated page within the game! When posting your score to the server, make sure you include: Your players full name Screenshot of your end of career stats (Including score) Have fun!

• New *Perks* feature + Bug Fixes - 12 September 2024

  NEW PERKS FEATURE Now introducing the new "Perks" feature, choose from 3 new perks (or go with the basic build) to further define your character. Does your player prioritize in agility and pace? Then go for the "Speed Demon" trait. Is your player a brick wall? Go for the "Powerhouse" perk! Want to bring flair and skills to your matches? Why not go for the "Magician" perk! This new feature adds new ways to play, and new ways to further define your player. MAJOR BUG FIXES Fixed major bugs: Stats properly reset after replaying Fixed settings button appearing after replaying Thats all for now! More content coming soon... (As always)

• New Social Media, In-Depth Stats, and more! - 9 September 2024

  - SOCIAL MEDIA - With the brand new Social Media feature, you can delve deeper into what your fans (or haters) think about you! With hundreds of different comments, with mixed emotions, you should always have fresh comments every time you play! With the Social Media update, comes a whole new sections - The Actions menu. Although still in development, it is here where you can more deeply see the different information about your player, which I will get into now! - IN-DEPTH PLAYER STATISTICS - Now with more in-depth player stats, you can see exactly which key areas your player is best in. Although there is no way to 100% identify each stat in game, documentation within and outside the game will come soon so you can refer to that if you want direct information on what each stat specifically means. • Customization menu improved + Other changes - 1 September 2024

  CUSTOMIZATION MENU UPDATE Updated the customization menu now contains much more space, and is much more polished. It will introduce more features (Soon to be announced), however for now contains a first name entry, last name entry, and character customization. NEW BACKSTORIES In every new career, your character will have a small selection of different backstories your character may have. This gives some more story behind your character and their origins, and why they chose to play football. REMOVED ITEMS Player nationality: Has no specific use, and now you can be any nationality No more breakdown in the beginning stating height, trait, etc BUG FIXES Fixed settings menu with music button glitch Fixed grammatical errors

• Settings + Audio changes - 31 August 2024

  NEW SETTINGS MENU Added a brand new settings menu, now you can enable / disable the music and the SFX. It is very minimalistic and only has those two options, however as the game grows you can expect more settings to be available. REDUCED VOLUME Simply reduced the volume of the background music so it is more subtle.

  NEW MAJOR GRAPHICAL UPDATE In this brand new update, there are a few new things to go over in terms of new features. There are: Brand new event images New text font overhaul First FootCareer soundtrack Increased amount of event possibilities Brand new event images With the brand new event images update, every event has an image that visualizes the current event to the player, creating a more dynamic yet retro gameplay experience, and enhancing the football career immersion. There are a total of 10 different images dedicated to specific possible events a football player may go through, in a classic, retro artstyle, so if retro gameplay is something your interested this update is perfect for you! • FOOTCAREER ULT - CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION! - 16 August 2024

  The brand new "FootCareer ULT" character customization! I have added a brand new character customization system that allows you (the player) to customize your football player and have a visual representation of how they look! This new feature is very early in beta, so currently it contains: 6 different styles of hair 4 different styles of facial hair 8 Different colours for each hair and facial hair However!
