  The second part of the major Brand New Worlds update is finally here! Major features : First Challenge Room The room on the other side of the first portal is now complete! If you can complete the challenge, you will be able to forge the silver pickaxe and gain the ability to reach deeper biomes. Fast Travel and New Map UI The map now display controls to pan, zoom, teleport, ... You can also buy a new power to gain the ability to fast travel to any previous shops! New Dangers New ways to die! • Rock Digger 0.7.0: Brand New World (part 1) - 30 October 2024

  A major update for the Rock Digger demo has just been published! Major features : Full overhaul of the world's structure Rather than each biome being a completely separate level, the world is now one huge area with different biomes appearing depending on your current depth. Progress should flow a lot better, and the world now looks more natural! Shops reworks Alchemy circles (shops) can now be found underground regularly, making backtracking significantly less frequent. If your inventory is full, it's now most often faster to simply carry on rather than going back to a previous shop. New Pickaxes The starting copper pickaxe can now only dig "low level" blocks. To progress deeper, the player will need to create new, stronger pickaxes. There is currently 4 different pickaxes.   I released a small update for the demo. Features : Ores now make sounds when colliding. You can now see your stats in the shop, and how they would change if you buy an upgrade. Visual redesign for the shop screen. New sound when charging a mega pickaxe. Bugfixes : Fixed a bug where some hints on how to progress weren't appearing. Fixed a bug where the shop would show descriptions for non unlocked abilities. Fixed an input lag issue when trying to spam pickaxes.
