Hello! This patch is a major update that reworks a few story bosses, tweaked Clown, and adds a unique series of cutscenes to the late game. Other decently big changes included, too. I guess. BOSS BUFFS CHAPTER 6: Like 1.4's patch notes predicted, some Dark Side bosses needed some tweaks (thankfully, not as many as I thought.) -Glutton's agility is upper to 8 from 5. -MOTHER no longer counters. -MOTHER's agility is lowered to 15 from 36. -BROTHER's Elemental Wilt confusion chance is now 5% instead of 30%. -Brother's Elemental Wilt now has an 80% chance of removing Eletection. Hello! This patch is both a major update to a late game area and adding a save failure recovery system. Steam Cloud has also been enabled(?) SAVE FAILURE RECOVERY SYSTEM Some people have reported minor save file failures in the Discord server. While your in-game achievements wouldn't be wiped, some other progress would seemingly be loaded into a new game state and There is now a special sequence that happens if you boot up the game while Ark has 0 rooms and 0 battles, but you have the achievement of collecting Jeneral Jeorge. This sequence will take a look at many important achievements and set several major variables that handle both progression and chains of achievements. Even if you don't have a save failure, the game has a smaller set of conditional branches that will make sure your game's progression is kept up with where your in-game achievements suggest you should be. Its cooldown is now 30 turns (down from 50) and its MP Cost is now 35% (down from 50%) CHAPTER 10 + SUPERBOSS CHANGES: -Enraged Oni 3's base agility has been buffed to 3 (from 1) and its HP has been buffed to 3500 (from 2000) -Wyrmling 3, 6, and 7's base agility has been buffed to 3 (from 2). -IMPURITY now has a 50/50 chance of either laughing or casting Vantablack Wipe.

Hello! This patch is a change-up to the game in order to make John B. Castin' a more viable character as an ally rather than only being a desirable party leader. Along with that, there's also some minor touch-ups to Ark's skills. MEDITATE Meditates's downsides were not worth it later in the game, so I've decided to tweak it. -Attack and defense cap of 10 removed; now halves attack and defense. -Meditate spell now has a cooldown of 5 turns. SPELLBOOK Spellbook was okay before, but really only had any practical use when John was the leader and had the time to gather up all that Max MP. In an attempt to make a random John ally more worth it, it's been buffed a whole lot. First, here are the nerfs: -Spellbook now has a cooldown of 7 turns. CHAPTER 10 SPOILERS: -IMPURITY now has an infinite retry mechanic. -Booting your game up after closing it whilst having an IMPURITY save will allow you to instantly challenge him again. -IMPURITY's moves now have specific rarities rather than all being in one pool. -Like, all of his moves have been slightly reworked. Hello! This patch is a change-up to the game's meta in an attempt to create a less dominant (but still applicable) playstyle! IRATE As of V1.1, the most prominent strategy for most of AWD's life has been getting high agility and stunlocking bosses with interrupting skills. This is fun, sure, but it does result in most fights having a similar "winning strategy." This update introduces a new game mechanic related to interrupting enemies: Irate. Every single skill that either fully interrupts or delays a foe's cast now has a 5% chance to inflict them with Irate. Irate will increase the foe's agility by 50% and attack by 10%, lasting for two attacks. Each tier of boss has a higher chance of being inflicted by this status when hit, final bosses having a 100% chance of infliction. Hello! This patch tinkers with several things that both should help with gameplay flow and giving more power to the player while still forcing them to move forward. STEAM OVERLAY Steam Overlay (Shift+Tab) should now work! Take as many screenshots as your heart desires. CLARITY -Almost all equipment and skill descriptions have been modified for clarity, color coding, and icons. Skills that either don't end the turn, are instant, or interrupt are all now color coded, so you don't skip over these important common effects. Status effects that the skill mentions now display their icons instead of writing them out. STATUS REWRITE -Along with this change is an almost complete rewrite to every single status effect's mouse description.
