Dropping in to let you all know that I have uploaded the latest build which includes the following; - bikini costume - costume selection buttons in the inventory screen - minor bug fixes and improvements - stability tweaks Some less positive news: - Unfortunately after doing everything I could to investigate The freezing/crashing on open issue There does not seem to be a fix as I understand it. This could be totally a limitation on me, but I did my best to find something I could do on my end to solve the problem. At present the ONLY way to fix the issue is here **If your game is crashing at launch, consider the following fix** (thanks to Josef for figuring this out) - Go to "General" in the game properties on Steam - Under "Launch options" type: -force -dx11 If anyone has a better answer dev-side please let me know! - The second issue I am sad to give an update on is local…

Hey everybody! here are the patch notes for v1.03! - Added in Steam Overlay functionality - Added Steam Achievements (3!) - Added the alternate "Jacket" costume - Adjusted behaviors for Pan Pan and the android AIs - minor bug fixes, optimizations, and improvements. Sorry this patch took a while! I needed to learn how to sculpt, retopologize, and improve my understanding of substance painter in order to make sure that the new costume looked good. The other costume (bikini) will come a bit later! You can put the costume on or change back to your security uniform at the lockers placed in the back area right at the start of the game. When I complete the bikini costume to satisfaction I will also try to add both costumes to the inventory UI so they can be selected at any time instead of needing to run back to the lockers to change. Hey everyone! the busy holiday season is here and I have been defeated by the complete lack of time. BUT! I was able to make some progress on the last major patch for Pan Pan part 1. I believe I will be able to get this polished up and out by the 15th. I am trying to get in localization for Chinese at the least, which has been the bigger hang up along with learning character sculpting so I could make the new li-li costume(s). I have also been doing some work to make and save money on the side which has taken some of my focus as well. - Halloween Expansion released! - 23 October 2024
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for supporting us and playing Good Night Pan Pan! The free content expansion is finally here just in time for Halloween! I did my best to include as much as possible for this update, but unfortunately I was not able to get additional costumes in yet, but I 100% will be providing the jacket costume for free in a future patch before the holidays. the bikini will likely be patched in sometime in the later future as it requires (and deserves) an updated model that will require some more learning on my end. Depending on how we handle the paid expansion (as DLC or a sequel) both costumes will be included for free in that release as well, hopefully with an additional costume unique to that content. Thanks to player feedback and input I have prepared a patch that does the following; Bug Fixes - New game button in the main menu now erases save data without needing to use the delete save button. (delete save button will remain as a fail safe for any bugs/issues that may arise) - Fixed an issue where certain doors could trap the player when opening/closing - Fixed an issue where the pushable cart interaction text could stay on screen indefinitely - Fixed an issue where the brush would no longer spawn on loading the game. Hey everybody! We hope you are looking forward to Good Night Pan Pan. This one is a little different for me, since quietly rebooting our studio a bit and moving to Unreal Engine from Unity I wanted to make something releasable to show what I've learned and also learn some new things as we work on our larger main project Death Harvest. It's already been 2 years since Midnight released, and DH is a few years away, so I figured it's necessary to start making and releasing smaller projects! Good Night Pan Pan was made in 80 days, originally as part of a game jam, then I decided it deserved more love and polish.
