After much hard work we're pleased to announce that Pixeluvo 1.6 has been released. New in this release: Added UI-scaling support for hi-DPI screens RAW file support for more recent camera formats Layer blend modes now preview as you select them Clone tool now has option to keep the sample point Better keyboard support Fixed rare crash in straighten tool Other minor usability and UI improvements Please note that as of version 1.6 the 32-bit build is no longer receiving updates, so if you want the latest and greatest make sure you're running on a 64-bit machine.

We're happy to announce that Pixeluvo version 1.5 is now live! This version adds a whole bunch of improvements to make working with Pixeluvo more productive, including: A simple way to open an image directly onto a layer inside another project (simply choose File->Open Onto Layer) A new photocopy filter (useful for creating 'Tom goes to the Mayor' memes as requested by user Ebola) Automatic creation of masks from the current selection when creating adjustment layers Quickly enable/disable masks by shift+clicking the mask preview A whole bunch of other user interface improvements Behind the scenes work continues on some more far-reaching improvements, but more on that another time...

There are now some new video tutorials to help with learning Pixeluvo. View them on the website here: www.pixeluvo.com/tutorials, or from within Pixeluvo itself by choosing Help->Tutorials. Currently there are tutorials on getting started, some special techniques for working with portrait photos, and an introduction to layers and masks. If you have any suggestions for future tutorials please let us know.
