Short description
Project Lexa is a sci-fi language mystery. Crash-landing on a mysterious planet, you find that everything is written in an alien language. Use your handy translator to decipher unknown glyphs, explore a strange world, and – hopefully – return home.
About this game
In Lexa, you take on the role of Lexa Kelz, a communications specialist aboard the Galactic Naval Vessel Chanticleer. While investigating a colony planet gone silent, the crew of the Chanticleer find themselves marooned after a crash landing. Worse still: the entire colony seems to be missing! The only thing they find is a mysterious glyph language. Questions abound: what is this language? Where are the colonists? And most importantly, how does the crew get off this planet? Translate an Undiscovered Language Interact with the world by interpreting and deciphering a bespoke glyph language. Project Lexa’s in-game translator allows you to create, edit, and reference translations for glyphs wherever you find them! Draw connections between messages and interfaces written in this language across various locales to gain a deeper understanding of the world and the beings that wrote them. Explore an Uncharted Planet Explore various locations — from deserts to tundras to urban environments — across this planetary frontier. As your knowledge and understanding of the language improves, you’ll unlock new areas to traverse. Investigate abandoned outposts and facilities, created by the missing colony or possibly alien interlopers, to learn who was here, where they went, and if they left behind the means to escape this world. Form Bonds with Your Crew While exploring the planet, Lexa will be joined by her crewmates from the GNV Chanticleer to uncover what happened to the colony. Whether uncovering new areas together or reconvening at your makeshift basecamp, you’ll grow closer with the crew as you struggle together to escape this planet. Captain Billon Maddox is the Chanticleer’s active commander. Reserved and cautious, Maddox began as a navigation specialist but quickly rose up through the ranks — mostly by avoiding ruffling his superiors’ feathers — which earned him his current position commanding his own ship. He’s been a longtime friend of Seric Boltzmann, the ship’s weapons officer, since their time at academy together, though this does cause Boltzmann to forget the chain of command when they’re on-assignment.
