  Not gonna be super active on updates when March begins and I lock in for a Game Jam, so I wanted to get out a few things that bothered me before. Nothing huge, but it does make the game feel quite a bit better to play.Added squash and stretch to jumps, bounces, and landing.Made a bunch of (unimplemented) dialogue portraits for later.Added the b button.Removed pluey.Added a circle to even better indicate the pink crystal's range.Added an option to make the camera faster in case it not keeping up with bob 100% of the time bothered you.Adjusted the hitbox that detects doors and viewfinders, making it align a tiny bit better with when the viewfinders get an outline, this also means you can beat levels 0.002 seconds faster have fun with that.Slightly randomized the pitch of bob's jumping and bouncing sounds to reduce how repetitive they can sound.Gave crystal spikes a sound when breaking tha…

• MAJOR Visual Overhaul + Collectibles! - 8 February 2026

  Been a little while! I can't say I've been working the entire time or anything, but I have been on and off, and was especially dedicated the last few months.The entire game has been visually overhauled. Nearly every sprite has been changed at least a little, all the backgrounds were completely redrawn, and there's a bunch of extra goodies.That said, I should probably let my non-comprehensive patch notes speak for themselves. hope you enjoy!Added a vignette for more convincing, slightly better cave lighting.The game will now detect if you have an old save, read that save file, and transfer the old data to a new save file format that allows for many more things to be saved, coincidentally also patching the bug where having the exe for Break to Scale in the same folder as Blade Bounce would break one of the games' save files.Adjusted lighting in all worlds.Added detail and new sprites in a…

  This new demo build brings a ton of visual changes, some gameplay changes, and general improvements to the game as a whole. • Demo Out Now On Steam! - 5 September 2024

  After a few months of work, a lot of which were spent making various assets for Steam, the Blade Bounce Demo should now be available on the store page.
