Hope you're all doing well.First of all, a big thank you to everyone who added The Misfits to their wishlist or took the time to try the demo!We went through a period of relocating our development site and other logistics and ended up falling behind schedule, but now we're back in full swing.This past weekend, I showcased an updated version of the game at Retrocon in São Paulo, and I’ll be uploading this new build to Steam within the next two days — just as soon as I return to my hometown.This updated demo includes around 1.5 hours of new gameplay, depending on the choices you make, and expands on Chapter 1 of the Misfits’ journey.I encourage you to play through it more than once, try different decisions, and send me your feedback using the contact info found on the new version’s main menu.Keep an eye on the announcements here on Steam — I’ll let you know as soon as the…

• 🔄 Demo Update – Controller Support Improvements! 🎮 - 18 January 2025

  Hey, Misfits! I’ve updated the demo to improve controller support, adjusting both the UI tutorial and the QTE prompts to display the correct button icons for Steam Deck and Xbox controllers. Now, playing with a controller should feel much more natural! However, analog stick movement is not yet supported, and the battler status hover (normally done with the mouse) is still not working with controllers. Because of this, I’d say the demo currently has about 90% controller compatibility. I’ll keep working on these improvements, and as always, your feedback is greatly appreciated! Let me know if you encounter any issues or have suggestions. 🎮 Try the updated demo now and add The Misfits to your Wishlist! I recommend starting a new game to ensure the updates are properly applied.
