- New Legendary Buildings & Improved Game Balance | Skyline Urban Story V1.2.0 - 18 December 2025
As 2025 draws to a close, Skyline Urban Story welcomes Version 1.2.0, bringing this year’s updates to a satisfying conclusion.Because this update includes adjustments to core gameplay systems—especially the land value system—we strongly recommend starting a new map, or completely demolishing and rebuilding your city in an existing save. Otherwise, you may encounter frequent “insufficient land value” warnings. If you find the new mechanics unsuitable, you can revert to the previous version by locating Skyline Urban Story in your Steam library, selecting “Properties” → “Betas,” and entering the beta code “PlayVersion118.”Below is an overview of what’s included in this update: 1. A new “Legendary Buildings” category has been added to the Research Lab. By researching it, you can unlock and construct six brand-new legendary buildings:Mega Elementary School (30,000 student capacity by default…
- V1.1.8 Update - 8 December 2025
1. Optimized the display of information layers for security, fire protection, medical care, parks and transportation. Plots covered by public services will be highlighted in green. The corresponding coverage area will only be shown when the mouse hovers over the service - providing building. This addresses the issue of difficulty in identifying coverage boundaries in the late game when many public service buildings are constructed. 2. Removed the "School District" information layer and merged it into the original "School" information layer, with the display logic adjusted to be the same as that in item 1. 3. When opening the leaderboard in the game, the current map will be marked.
- V1.1.7 Update - 30 November 2025
1. Conducted extensive computational optimizations to improve game performance. 2. Enhanced the anti - cheating capabilities of the leaderboard. If abnormal data is detected, the system will automatically clear it. If you find your data is wrongly cleared, you're welcome to contact me through any means in the game settings interface. Provide your city - building layout, and I'll manually restore your data.
- V1.1.6 Update - 26 November 2025
1. Fixed the issue where building docks and tunnels in blueprint status still triggers path calculation. 2. Significantly optimized the computing performance after building docks and tunnels, eliminating lags and potential computer crashes. 3. In the save game window, the display of auto - save has been hidden. Auto - save is only used for the auto - save function to overwrite, and cannot be manually overwritten. 4. Clicking on an already - built office area no longer defaults to showing the land price information layer.
- V1.1.5 Update - 25 November 2025
1. When building structures like iron mines that require resource plots, a "Find Available Resources" button will appear on the screen, allowing you to decide whether to automatically search for available resources. Meanwhile, the "Auto - Jump" function has been removed. 2. Fixed the bug that after building a research institute with a blueprint, it can't be rebuilt by paying again. 3. Fixed the bug that unique buildings can still get full income even when the employment rate is not satisfactory.
- V1.1.4 Update - 21 November 2025
1. Added the Blueprint Mark feature: In the construction interface, you can check the "Blueprint Mark" function. Unlocked buildings can be placed on the map in blueprint status without any cost and no building effects, which is used for advance layout planning. You can activate the blueprint at any time later by spending the original construction cost. There are two ways to activate the blueprint: 1. Click on the blueprint building, and then click the build button displayed below the information bar. 2. Hold down the Ctrl key on the large map and click the blueprint building (the same shortcut operation as density upgrade). If you have enough funds, the blueprint will be activated. 2. Trade data can be sorted in descending or ascending order by revenue and expenses, trade quota, loca…

Click it to select and change to your preferred style.)
- V1.1.2 Update - 15 November 2025
1. Fixed the issue of incorrect calculation of some building job positions. If not clicked, the self-check will not be initiated.) 2. Fixed the problem of incorrect description of the construction quantity of unique buildings. 3. Fixed the issue of trade overrun reminders appearing even without a Trade Center. 4. Fixed the problem of incorrect display of the selection status of some buttons in the settings. 5.
