Happy Monthiversary!It's been 1 full month since Dice Goblin's Den launched on Steam! Hurray! Here's some quick patch notes: - Added 2 new stages to play on for level 1 which allow players to unlock the Knight and Cleric classes right off the bat!- Added a small QoL update that makes Right Clicking on your mouse close out the unit selection panel.- Added the "2 Gemstones" cost onto the hover tooltip UI when you mouse over the unit upgrades.- Changed the Steam button on the main menu to go to babachoo's dev page on Steam so that people can keep an eye on all of my super cool new games coming out =] (Rogue Merchant coming soon! HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!! Just in time for the Tower Defense Fest! What a time to be alive! lol Here's some new stuff that was added to the game last-minute! We have a new little toggle button when you're clicked on a unit that will show its stats and resistances! One of the biggest flaws of Dice Goblin's Den throughout beta testing/the demo is that it didn't do a very good job of communicating information to the player beyond very general snippets like, "DEX increases attack speed, damage reduction, and crit chance", but nobody ever knew by how much these stats were affected! Yet, some other players also felt overwhelmed with how much information was already in the game. So I went with the best middle-ground I could think of, by adding this toggle button so that anyone who wishes to delve deeper into understanding attributes and stats can now do so, while everyone who wishes to have less in…

Time to Hit the Books!We've got a brand new tutorial that can be played through, which is accessed right from the main menu! We still also have the tutorial tips button in the bottom-right corner of the screen when you're in the middle of playing through a level, but even that has been updated as well! It now includes videos since most people would rather watch something than spend time reading about it! Huzzah!In this new playable tutorial, you are patronized by your father, the goblin king. His ill temperament and snide remarks are suffered by the protagonist as you make your way through the 5 waves of tutorial gameplay. DEMO OUT NOW!! GO PLAY IT!! (or else...)I'm super happy with the current state of this demo, and I hope everyone else out there who gives it a shot will also enjoy it! The only snag I think some newcomers are likely to hit is if they are a bit confused on how to strategically place their units if they are going in blind. But hopefully they check out those tutorial tips in the corner of the screen and learn something from seeing the pictures I left in there. Hello goblins!It seems more and more like October will be Gobtober, and I can only imagine we'll be launching sometime soon after the October Steam Next Fest! Most of the Roguelite functionality is now operational, some of which is already implemented into the current closed beta demo of the game. We have a good chunk of "Draw 3 Pick 1" upgrades, whether they come from Keepsakes, Goblin Unit Upgrades, or Initiative Enchantments. Large carriages containing this precious loot will mosey their way through the waves of enemies, and taking them out will secure you some good ol' fashion randomized progression!Economy Management!We also have a new way of managing the economy.
