Hey everyone! This week’s update is a little different and a very important one for us.Releasing the Emptiness Sire Demo on November 11th was a milestone we’ve been working toward for a long time. Seeing it finally out in the world was only possible thanks to the people who support us every step of the way: friends, collaborators, playtesters, and everyone who believes in this project as much as we do.We also want to thank every single person who added the game to their wishlist, played the demo, shared it with a friend, or took the time to send us feedback. Every comment, bug report, and impression helps us shape Emptiness Sire into the best version it can be. It truly makes a difference for a small team like ours.Launching a demo is more than just releasing a build, it’s opening the door for players to experience a world we’ve been crafting with care, detail, and a lot of love. • When the Forest Starts to Close In - 31 October 2025

Horror doesn’t always come from what you see đŸ‘ïž sometimes it’s in what quietly watches back.In Emptiness Sire, the presence of cosmic horror doesn’t rely on jumpscares or grotesque displays. It seeps through the environment itself. Eyes carved into stones, altars hidden between roots, statues of devotion eroded by time
small, almost imperceptible details that suggest something greater, and far older, is observing you.As players move from World 1 to World 2, the forest begins to close in. The once open and silent paths turn into narrow corridors of trees and shadows, where light barely reaches. The atmosphere shifts, and with it, the feeling that the world is no longer passive — it’s alive, aware, and quietly judging every move you make.In Emptiness Sire, horror isn’t an event. It’s a presence. One that grows darker the further you go.See you in the next update, where we’ll dive into t

  • The Ones That Still Hunt - 17 October 2025

Hey everyone! Before diving deeper into what’s new in World 2, we wanted to take a moment to revisit the enemies that have been part of Emptiness Sire since the beginning 🚹 and who will continue to challenge players as the game unfolds. đŸȘ“Each of them was designed not only to test the player’s reasoning but also to reinforce the tone and rhythm of each encounter. Their behavior is part of the puzzle, forcing players to think ahead, observe, and adapt. The Lancer A close-range, stationary unit that attacks only in the direction it’s facing. Straightforward and predictable — but leave your guard down, and it’ll make you pay for it.The Archer A long-range unit that targets everything within its line of sight. Its vision can be blocked, but as long as the path is clear, no tile is safe. The Stalker Unlike the others, she waits. Once detection succeeds, the chase begins — a relentless pursuit

  • Breathing Life into World 2 of Emptiness Sire - 26 September 2025

Hey everyone! As we continue exploring World 2, we’d like to shift the focus to a part of development that often speaks louder than words: the art. For us, visuals are not just about setting the stage 🎹 they’re about making the world of Emptiness Sire feel alive, unsettling, and meaningful. Our art team has been fully dedicated to building an atmosphere where every element feels intentional. From spores that pulse as if breathing, to plants twisted into strange mutations, to waterfalls and lakes that carry both beauty and dread 💀 nothing is placed without purpose. These details aren’t just decoration; they are fragments of the lore, silent storytellers woven into the environment.Just like the enemies you face and the dialogues you encounter, every asset created from scratch is a piece of the puzzle that reveals what Emptiness Sire truly is. The world itself becomes a character, whisper

  • Into the Darkness of World 2 - 11 September 2025

Hey everyone!Continuing from our last updates about World 2 — and if you missed them, we recommend checking those out to learn more about its mechanics and the new presence players will face — this time we’d like to focus on the world itself. In Emptiness Sire, environments are never just backdrops. They carry meaning, symbols, and fragments of a story that slowly reveal themselves as you progress. In World 2, this becomes even clearer. What felt subtle in World 1 now takes a darker and more oppressive form: strange symbols etched into stone, candles illuminating forgotten corners, and scattered remains of structures that hint at what once stood there. These elements aren’t just decoration — they connect directly with the mechanics and heighten the sense of tension, making each puzzle feel like part of something deeper. With every move, players aren’t only reasoning through solutions; the

  • A new presence in World 2 - 19 August 2025

Hey everyone! 👋Over the past weeks, we’ve been shaping the atmosphere of World 2 — refining its puzzles, introducing pistons and levers, and weaving deeper narrative details into the environment. But this chapter also marks the arrival of something
different. For the first time, you won’t just be solving puzzles or facing familiar enemies. Instead, you’ll meet a new kind of presence — one that’s faster, smarter, and far more relentless than anything you’ve encountered so far. This creature is not born in the usual sense. It is summoned. Once conjured, it clings to its host and manifests in a physical form, pursuing its chosen target with unyielding determination. It doesn’t lose track. It doesn’t forgive. It doesn’t stop.More than a simple obstacle, this entity adds a layer of tension and unpredictability to the gameplay. Every move matters when something that knows exactly where you are

  • Pistons, levers, and what’s coming in World 2 - 25 July 2025

Hey everyone!Over the past two weeks, we’ve been deeply focused on finalizing World 2 and refining the ideas for World 3 đŸ‘ïž and we can already tell these two chapters will feel very different from each other. In World 2, we introduced two new mechanics: pistons and levers. While they weren’t the most technically demanding to implement, our focus was on making sure they felt intuitive to the player, added meaningful variety to the puzzles, and above all, made sense within the world and narrative unfolding at this point in the game. These mechanics bring a new rhythm to the gameplay, creating interactions that are both strategic and surprising 😃 and they help reinforce the themes and mood that define this part of the journey. We also took this time to enrich the world with key narrative elements, subtly embedded in the environment and progression. Without giving too much away, World 2 mark

  • Mechanics, atmosphere, and what’s coming next in Emptiness Sire - 30 June 2025

Hey everyone!Today we want to share a bit about the mechanics that make Emptiness Sire a unique experience. At its core, our game is a 2D turn-based puzzle. Every move matters and every mistake can (and should) be reconsidered. That’s why we created the undo system, which allows players to rewind their last steps, correct decisions, and explore different paths without the frustration of restarting an entire level.Beyond that, Emptiness Sire is built around contrasting atmospheres and worlds with their own rules. The combination of challenging puzzles, an enigmatic narrative, and carefully crafted environments turns each level into a piece of a greater puzzle đŸ§© not just of logic, but of meaning. We’re really excited to hear what you’ll think once the demo is out. Honestly, we can’t wait! There’s no set release date yet, but we’re working hard and staying focused to make it available as so
