- Stuff to do is out now! - 23 July 2026
Hi, detectives,This is an important moment for me. It has been a while since I started working on the game and now it is finally finished. From the very beginning I wanted to make a different kind of game and, after a rollercoaster of development, I can say that I am proud of the result. The last few weeks have been pretty tense, working as hard as I could to get it ready for you and finally be able to play it.Thank you so much for waiting, to everyone that wishlisted the game and provided feedback back when the demo was a mess.If you have a moment, please leave a review. It really helps other players find the game, which is quite important for indie developers like me. Thank you so much,Jorge.
- Next week it's time to escape. - 17 July 2026
Detectives,I can finally say that Stuff to do will be available next week. Here’s what awaits you:Two to three hours of gameplay.Lots of puzzles set in an eerie atmosphere.Unusual mechanics. Only the mouse is used (left-click, scroll wheel down, and right-click).80% investigation. 20% survival.THERE IS NO HIGHLIGHT BUTTON INTERACTIONS. Pay close attention. The colors tell you everything. The game requires some attention (though you won’t need to take notes). It’s an experimental, retro-style exploration and investigation game. I’ll probably leave some clues on the forum, but it’s up to the player to dive in and do their part to progress. If this doesn’t sound like your thing it probably isn’t the game for you. Thanks for being there!

- Devlog - Mechanics. - 29 March 2026
A quick note on the game mechanics. You’ll need a mouse to play. That’s all. Left mouse button: move forward, select. Mouse wheel (scroll down): switch gestures, change object functions, navigate the menu. Right mouse button: cancel, drop object, activate object, check your pulse. The game is a step beyond the demo. The mechanics will be explained with icons, and players will not only understand them but also apply them without any trouble. Thank you.
- Devlog - Update - 11 March 2026
What happened to Stuff to do? A series of frequent errors forced me to start the project from scratch. That's why there's been a delay. Now I'm focused solely and exclusively on this project. Everything works better, and I've also taken the opportunity to improve the game. What's new?The game will have touches of survival horror, and you'll be able to move freely through a series of connected scenarios. Throughout the game, you will be able to unlock new skills with gestures and find objects that will be useful for accessing new areas or discovering hidden ones. The puzzles have been greatly improved. Initially, the game was only going to be available in two languages. Now I have added four more, so in total there will be: Spanish, English, Russian, Polish, German, and Portuguese. More will likely be added after launch, but if anyone wants to suggest a language they would like to see ad…
- STUFF TO DO | Story trailer - Devlog - 30 August 2025
Hi, long time no see.UpdatesStuff to do is still in development and, more importantly, progressing. It's getting closer. You can watch the story trailer on the store page. I recommend watching it because, apart from showing the game's storyline, you can see areas never seen before with hints of the mechanics. It gives a good idea of what the game is like. The atmosphere is turning out wonderfully. Honestly. My intention is to make more updates like this to keep the community informed. I had thought about opening a Discord. Would you be interested in that? Please comment and I'll open a server faster that you can say blueberry pie. What does Stuff to do offer? What makes it stand out?The atmosphere, mechanics, and story, for sure. With so many games available, the strengths of some are the weaknesses of others, so since the beginning I decided to make a game that was very different from the…
- Devlog - Important update - 31 March 2025
Gamers, The game is still in development phase but the story is almost integrated. There have been changes on it, basically because there was merely one till now. Thanks to this change the game has solidified itself as a investigation game keeping the mechanics introduced in the demo... ... which has now a small intro and outro in order to stablish it inside the story of the game. The page of the game has new additions like images, descriptions in order to help you know what awaits in Stuff to do, in addition to a teaser the captures the atmosphere of the game. Because of the changes of the game and a development decission the game will be available, for the moment, in two languages. More soon.
- No Rest for Lex - Steam Next Fest - 20 February 2025
Hello, escapists, First of all: Stuff to do is progressing, slowly but surely (you know, solo developer and all that stuff). The game has taken an interesting path, to say the least. Next Monday the first edition of this year's Next Fest starts , where I present the closing of the Lex saga, No Rest for Lex. Although the game has nothing to do with this genre, you might want to check it out as well as the previous games. If you like classic adventure games and laughs, you won't be disappointed. The first game, From Lex to Rex will soon celebrate its third anniversary. During the festival I'll be streaming the game with some regularity. Thank you. More news coming soon.
- Devlog - . . . . - - 17 January 2025
Greetings, Although I haven't said anything for a while, I'm still working on the game. There was a big problem and I had to start the project from scratch. This will affect the release date, however it has been good for me to reorganize. I have been forced to alternate the development of this game with a totally different one. You have to take advantage of opportunities. Yesterday David Lynch passed away. One of the references I have for this game is his movie Lost Highway. The game is still progressing. I had to change aspects and replace mechanics. There are many aspects to take into account, sometimes too many for one person: give information, how to give it, will the player understand it, etc. One thing is clear and I will not back down on this: everything will be integrated within the game. You will understand this later. Thanks for still being there.
- Cooking Fest - From Lex to Rex - 13 November 2024
Hello, gamers, As you may have seen during these days the Steam Cooking Festival is taking place. I'm proud that my first game, From Lex to Rex, is taking part in it and so it now has its biggest discount to date. If you're fans of classic adventure games you might want to check it out and help me out (I'm probably the only one of this genre in the festival). Thank you. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1794030/From_Lex_to_Rex/
- Devlog # . . ___ - 31 October 2024
Hello, gamers, More people have been playing the demo and adding the game to the wishlist. Thank you. I was planning to remove it for a while, however it will still be available at least for two more weeks. It has been updated. A kind player recommended me this game Last Half of Darkness, which I must admit, caught my attention right away. Looks like you are all enjoying the atmosphere of the game. That and the gameplay are aspects that I see myself thinking a lot. Although this project is a "small one", the game design is still an important task (and an adventure). Which leads me to this: I am sacrificing a coherent arquitecture for the sake of the gameplay. Don´t worry, I am not talking about going upstairs using stairs that lead down. Actually, looks like my games could share the "incoherent arquitecture" tag. Speaking about other games (mine): next week a Steam Festival will be anno…
- Devlog # . ____ - 22 October 2024
Hello, gamers. Despite not having had any promotion and not having been able to broadcast it, Stuff to do has received a lot more attention than I expected, which I'm quite happy about. Actually I thought that the only thing that I would obtain would be a polished version of the demo (yes, it lacked some fine-tuning of the mechanics and a few things here and there). In fact, thanks to the impressions of two people, the demo has had a substantial improvement, more bearable and playable. In today's patch I've added small details to better understand the final puzzle. Is pressing Alt+F4 that annoying? This week will be about scraping off some burrs from the demo and continue with the main game. The mechanics are looking interesting (I'll probably talk about this in next week's post). Obviously the changes for the better in the demo will be reflected in the main game, so I will have to be c…
- New Game: Stuff to do - Steam Next Fest - 15 October 2024
Lovely people, I am proud to announce my new game: Stuff to do. A minimalist and experimental escape-room with touches of psychological horror. A total drift from my previous games, however you will still find intriguing puzzles and mystery as well as some interesting gameplay mechanics. The demo will be available during the Steam Next Fest. Use your head, your hands. And remember to check your pulse. Thanks.
